Only a fool with an agenda (no names, no pack drill but I'm thinking of May! lol) would have believed it would go anywhere ffs! The only thing Corbyn's interested in is a general election, that's been obvious for months. When will this humiliation end? https://www.theguardian.com/politic...-likely-to-collapse-theresa-may-jeremy-corbyn
Jeremy Corbyn backing out of talks relegated his party back to where they were before these talks; Like any slim chance he might have had at power is gone now. I'm glad they're not trying to make a deal anymore since Corbyn backs a customs union. PM Boris Johnson for Brexit PM.
Haven't we suffered enough humiliation on the world stage, given the constant stream of losers we've had as PM since Margaret Thatcher was given the boot? If Johnson does get it, that'll be proof positive to me that we really have reached 'Idiocracy'.
Boris Johnson is a Conservative, if Farage wanted to be PM, he'd be a Conservative too. Brexit Party's all well and good for the EU, and that's where Farage likes to go. Can't we have both? PM Boris Johnson and Farage elected to the EU Parliament?
Do you seriously believe Farage would be allowed to within a mile of the Houses of Parliament? Brit MPs hate him even more than the Tusk and Juncker do, because he'd make the MPs look like the useless bunch of voting fodder that they are. Westminster is a closed shop** to anyone outside of the political loop, never mind someone they all hate. ** Remember what the 'closed shop' was in industry - where only the chosen few with friends high up in the unions could get jobs? You've written some good posts recently, and it surprises me that you don't realise all of the above. The last thing we need now, to restore a bit of credibility in the wider world and our national self-respect after the longest pantomime in history, is a clown like Johnson in the hot seat, especially with what's around the corner.
