    As much as I agree that virtually anything is great with garlic and white wine, I have my limits.

    And that is definitely one of them.

    I cant get past this version of this song.
    I must have listened to it 20+ times. Listening for so many different things. His voice is so impressive. The orchestra. The piano. The string instruments. The kettle drums.
    They took this song to a whole different level. Its ridiculously moving.

    Im sitting here thinking about getting older. Then I start thinking about dropping dead. Then I go straight into thinking if I dropped dead right now and someone found me what would they see.

    Me slumped over my desk. A half eaten graham cracker, half a cup of tea, my head phones on and listening to this.

    Gee, I have always looked at the different shades of green in nature. The green hues that have more blues or yellows in them. You can almost identify a tree from a distance by the shades of green. It is one of my favorite things to do when we travel.

    When given a choice of saving 30 minutes on the freeway/highway, or taking the back roads, I'll go for the back roads every time. Trees and flowers and wild things growing in ditches.....

    We took a back road once in Wyoming and it was something worth doing. We were not in a hurry and didn’t really care where we were going. It will always be one of those memories that last for a life time. We saw an old homestead that was abandoned, antelopes, some wild horses and scenery that was wild.
    Backroads really do remind a person America is beautiful.

    Started trying to organize the woodpile today. Seperated out some of the 2 by 8 boards and put a bunch of 1 by boards on the truck so I can put them in one of my sheds. All the wood needed to be turned and spacers put between them so they won't hold in dampness and begin to rot. I am also cutting some of the longer stuff so I can handle it better. One of the long boards is 5 inches wide on one end and 3 inches wide on the other. I also built a bench for my newly screened in front porch. Got the plans off the internet ....but had to make a few changes....and still need to finish putting on the backrest planks.
