I wish we could find career swamp rats in washington that could be trusted to serve trumps agenda without stabbing him in the back But they are scarce
I see the wheels are coming off your argument We are not demanding a total ban of china But trump is demanding fair trade and china is screaming bloody murder
It can be defined as return to the business as usual. I.e. export of American jobs intellectual property transfer direct financial assistance to Chinese government officials sale of military technology etc, etc
My argument is tariff are evil. They are irrationally destructive. We are seeing the havoc they cause now. They answer to evil is not more evil, the answer is the rationally good. If a man murders his wife, murdering mine isn’t doesn’t make things better or good. Your argument is, China is using theft, whippings, and slavery to build an economic empire, let’s do the same so we can be a evil as they are. Oh, now that’s rational behavior. In other words, let’s act like Jessie James instead of acting like Steve Jobs. Yes, let's be destroyers instead of creators. Won't work.
Bible scripture predicts, says, that Power will move from the East to the West. We are so stupid, we have allowed other Countries to invest and build in the U.S without any limits of regulation. China has taken advantage. They have so many ways to destroy us. Be it Drug manufacturing, generic drugs. Or real estate investments or technology. I hope Trump can curtail this. The sheeple on the left have no understanding of this.
You are the one being irrational if you think manufacturing in America is the same as slavery Where do you get such goofy logic? China is not engaging in fair trade and that is unacceptable
Better that than the worshipful yellow fever thats got a grip on you China is a threat of our American way of life whether you know it or not
The Great Orange Deity is making us more and more a banana republic every day and you seem to think that's Making America Great somehow.
Seriously you think tariff is evil? IMO their should be no tariffs. Free trade. And if a Country such as China manipulates their currency, game over. We should never made the cost of manufacturing so high in the U.S. We should have lowered the taxes on these Companies and in exchange the Companies should have had to raise wages. And knowing what we do now, we should all be willing to p.a. A little more for US made products.
What in bloody frack are you talking about. What are you disputing? Are you saying that Trump is not doing exactly the things he cited? Because they are a litany of just what he is doing and has done, or are you saying that they aren't transforming us into a banana republic, because all those things are the very earmarks of a caudillo, the "man on horseback", and the only characteristic of one that wasn't specifically mentioned is what you and your ilk are doing, worshiping your tin god as infallible and excusing or minimizing every crime he does.
The agenda is all comrade, you must find obedient commissars and to Sib...er....the Dakotas with the rest
Sorry I am tired and mid-sized in my previous post. To answer your question, if we make the cost of manufacturing less costly including cutting taxes for these manufacturers, they can afford to pay higher wages. And if we want these jobs to come back, we have to be willing to pay a little more for the products. I would rather pay more for prof the manufacturer in our own Country because it means more jobs for our Citizens which means more money in our economy and more wealth for all of us.
China is destroying manufacturing in America Already anti trumpsters are saying we cant stand up to china because they will hurt us economically Did we say America could not form NATO because it woukd make the Soviets angry and they would deny us basic consumers goos? No because we did not depend on the Soviets to supply us manufactured goods
WAH...WAH...they're making what we're making, but it's BETTER and they're selling it for LESS...it's not FAIR...WAAAHHH. Fair trade means competition and competition is inherently unfair, to everyone but the consumer.
