Do you feel that prohibiting carrying would prevent gun crime?

It is the most effective tool. Without it, most of those who attempt suicide would survive.

If I don’t know the person, that makes them a stranger to me.

Why would you ask such a question given I have never advocated prohibiting carrying a gun? Wake up and get your act together before you post to me.

My son and I were with family in the mountains of Idaho and it is so awesome to be so welcome by so many shooters. We fired my pistol and the AR15 and truly had a great time. We heard other free people firing too.

whataboutery with a false equivalency. Admittedly it is very effective with a particular crowd level.

Then why do you choose to remain in that forsaken territory?

They're just something you have, like pots and pans for a kitchen. You need different kinds for different tasks, but there's very little to love about them except for when you need one, I guess. Ain't really needed one except a few times I found some rattlers.

It's a big club. I've yet to see the same person twice the times I've been there. I have also never hung out at the member lounge. I go to the range, shoot, and leave.

It's a gun club. The club has all sorts of events, I just have no interest in any of them. If I had the land I'd prefer to just shoot on my own property but that won't happen until my wife and I retire and move north to the mountains.

I've never heard of a gun club like that. Why don't you just go shoot at a shooting range? Club membership dues has to be expensive.

So you have to be a member to a club to shoot at a gun range? That sucks

At least in my area. There are gun ranges but none close enough to where I live.

Good catch. My opinion on guns starts at the same place my opinion on abortion starts.
THERE IS A TIME TO KILL.
That's why I think that abortion should remain legal. After all, moms know.

That nature is universal. Here, we have guns to combat it. Very few truly innocent people are killed by guns in the US. Far more use their guns to defend themselves. I have no reason to believe that fewer truly innocent people would be killed if those very same people were disarmed.

"When your enemies kill each other, let them." Sun Tzu

I am glad that people have the option of using a gun in a suicide. It would be my choice.
I equate suicide with abortion on the 'desperation' scale.

I'm not afraid to die, but suffering scares the hell out of my. I have every interest in prolonging my life, but I have absolutely no interest in prolonging my death. With the proper medical care, I've personally watched people die for years. No thank you.

As Kipling wrote, "When you're wounded and left on Afghanistan's plains, and the women come out to cut up what remains, jest roll to your rifle and blow out your brains and go to your gawd like a soldier."

Yeah, I mean all that empirical evidence about the availability of guns and the number of gun deaths in countries around the world, can be dismissed as fake science, just like climate change. Nah, its way better to just believe in bullshit because it fits with your own opinions.

Funny how you claim guns combat evil human nature, totally ignoring that those evil humans are using those very same guns to do evil human things that you claim are protection for all the good people. Guess a little collateral damage is acceptable because guns save millions of lives. That logic is as compelling as its under lying assumptions are bullshit.
