This is a reasonable opinion. Moderate, logical and lacking bias.

I apologize my new job has me Ill informed and ignorant on the ME geopolitical strife once one of my favorite topics...but did someone say and can support with a source cruise missiles hitting KSA? Perhaps I misread. Not that I'd mind. Our alignment with the KSA has always made me want to vomit. That ruling family of some 1000 odd persons aren't just conservative sharia law but openly support Islamist movements. As do we if it suits our goals. Proven facts fyi and I have plenty of irrefutable context supporting sources to back it up.

But..cruise missiles? My my that is something

They are producing low-grade nuclear waste from their reactors. How does this give them a nuclear military?

Once again you are talking about things that you do not understand. GDP is running at 2% right now - not exactly stellar.

    https://www.frbatlanta.org/cqer/research/gdpnow.aspx

Then there is the problem that your 1.5% is a complete falsehood. Every Obama fiscal year was higher than 1.5% https://www.thebalance.com/us-gdp-by-year-3305543

Through 8 fiscal years the average GDP growth rate under Obama was 2.2%. The difference being that any idiot can stimulate GDP growth through increases in deficit spending - what is difficult is increasing GDP while reducing the deficit.

All Trump has done is prove is is a princess with a credit card - following the same fiscally irresponsible policies as Reagan - policies which led to fiscal disaster.

I trot out the actual numbers - with links in post 132. The numbers you cite are quarter over quarter - not year over year.

In any case. GDP is now at 2%. Obama's average was not 1.5% as stated - this is a complete falsehood. His average was 2.2%.

Monetary policy and not fiscal policy played a key role during Obama's presidency. .

Restraint? Iran lost it's revenue to push ahead with it's nuclear ambition after the US pulled out of the deal. Now Iran is threatening the other signees into making up the difference or they will "attempt" to restart their nuclear program.

Im surprised at how much they are attacking successfully with ballistic, claimed cruise and drone attacks in KSA. The following are the most recent, of which you can find video from inside the airport terminal as the strike happens.

If you call 1.5% GDP "expansion" you truly are a socialist and truly don't understand how an economy works. That kind of so called growth doesn't even keep up much less expand.

Actually his last year's were among his worst years and his last quarter was going over a cliff. Obama went down in history as having the slowest recovery from recession than any president and he was the first never to achieve a 3% annual GDP and had two terms to do so. That's his economic legacy.

The United States should just eliminate the next provocation with enough force to send the needed message to Iran. When a speedboat decides to play we simply let a phalanx do its job instead of pressing the Off button and when they complain we just say we are defending ourselves so our sailors are not captured again. If a missile is launched we annihilate the area it came from and say we are defending allies they were targeting.
If they want a war we tell them I'll be your Huckleberry.

That's why they fly so high. They can see a very long ways from those altitudes.

Interesting theory but an act if war is not a criminal proceeding it's an attack on the United States and if left unchecked will ultimately result in American casualties.

"The U.S. economy may have grown faster than expected in the final three months of the year, at a pace of 2.1%, but that won’t do much to improve President Obama’s economic legacy. Including the latest Commerce Department figure, the average GDP growth rate during his tenure was about 1.5%. The only president with a worse economic record since 1930 is Herbert Hoover".

That’s fine, let’s trash some of their equipment, but we shouldn’t inflict any casualties over a machine.

No ... because of the IAEA inspections not possible!

They have too ... the times were only you in the US have high class / high tech drones are since a long time over. Your acting with the drones woke up many of your opponents during the last 18 years!

Where is the evidence that the vidoe shows an Iranian boat with Iranian personal on this date prior the attack again?

Sure ... because Trump benefits from Obama's long-term reforms ... and of course sells them as his success ... and as always his fans just believe everything Trump says!

I'd agree to Target facilities and equipment but collateral damage is possible and acceptable.

The commander of the Iranian Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claims that the downing of a US drone was a warning to an American military aircraft that was flying alongside its UAV.
Brigadier General Hajizadeh told state TV that the main reason for shooting down the drone, which marked a serious escalation in tensions with the US, was to force the American P-8 military aircraft to divert course, according to Iranian media.

#Iran’s purpose by shooting down the drone was to warn the "#US terrorist forces" as it could also target an #American P-8 military aircraft that was flying next to MQ-4C drone, but it didn’t: Brigadier General Hajizadeh
Hajizadeh also claims that there were some 35 personnel on board the US P-8, though he did not cite a source for this figure. In addition, he alleges that the US military was warned twice of an impending strike against the aircraft if they did not change course.

"Twice we... sent warnings," Hajizadeh said, as cited by AFP.

Hajizadeh added that even the US military's autonomous drone had the capabilities to relay messages to its operators thousands of miles away.

"This aircraft possesses a system which allows it to relay the signals and information it receives to its own central system," he said, adding that the order was given only after the aircraft finally entered Iranian airspace at 4:05am local time.

On Friday afternoon, the Iranian military showcased the wreckage of the US drone.

Unfortunately for your viewpoint the very jobs Obama said we're not coming back are coming back as Trump ditches Obama's job killing policies

And you think that will not cause a war and Iran will sit and accept it without counter reaction, because they are scared of you? ROFL:...
