Our troops are there, because if we pulled out, Russia would eventually own Berlin. We pay for your nation's defense and stopped the U.S.S.R from rolling all of Germany. Germany spends less than 1.5% of the nation's GDP on Defense. We spend less on our Social Programs, Debt, etc... because we are busy paying for your Defense. It's why you sleep so well at night and you don't even know it. Just say "thank you" and move on.
