Oh well, there goes Trump's Wall.

    Great decision by the Judge.

    Trump was dreaming all along.

Is this Trump's idea of "Winning"?

    Thoughts?

A Federal judge on Friday issued a ruling blocking the Trump administration from tapping billions of dollars in military funds to construct a wall on the United States's southern border.

U.S. District Judge Haywood Gilliam issued the permanent injunction in a California federal court, after initially ruling last month to temporarily halt the administration’s use of military funds for the border wall.

The injunction halts border wall construction at different sites in New Mexico, California, Arizona and Texas, expanding Gilliam's previous ruling.

The left calls for secure borders, celebrates a judge’s ruling preventing secure borders.

The Japs and Nazis would have loved liberal judges during WWII.

Just another Obama judge that will get overruled by a higher court.

Hey that federal judge is from your state. Another blow-building trauma to Republican angst.

There goes another talking point from the LW. Trump wants to build a wall and it's a judge who shuts it down. I guess we know who is on what side of this political fight, right? I mean. don't we have a poster here who keeps saying that Trump is for Open Borders? Man, I gotta bookmark this thread so that when this guy says it again, I can remind him who's REALLY for open borders and who is against it.

I can't remember the name of this poster but I'm sure it'll come to me sometime.

Yeah, New York, the state where the courts are closing in on the rat. Poor Trump, even in his hometown he is viewed as a pariah.

Think about it. The left swears they want secure borders then sues to keep them open only to blame it on Trump. It’s insane.

That's not saying much. Trump is rightly abhorred where he lives whether that be NYC or DC. How come Trump never holds rallies in New York?

Trump only holds rallies in places where he is sure to get a friendly audience.

He picks his spots just like David Duke addressing the KKK.

Trump always goes to the "friendly" places. :bored:

How tall — in your opinion — would the wall have to have been to stop Japanese attacks during WW2?

Are the illegals flying in off aircraft carriers, or are they walking across open borders?

    The fight is not over.
Higher court will make final decision. In my eyes California judges are so biased they are not worth anything.

Perhaps but the 9th circuit and California attorney general sure have slowed Trump's agenda to a crawl.

Since Dems are talking about public option on healthcare can we get an option for citizenship because if Dems have their way citizenship will only mean we're the suckers paying for everything.

If theres no ice or consequences for being here illegal what would happen if a person renounced their citizenship then hopped the border back?

As we say in Oz, I’m pissing against the wind trying to tell you lot something you just won’t hear but - - - - - - - -

Historically neither Republican nor Democrat US governments have much to be proud of in their dealings with Sth America. The flood of asylum seekers wouldn’t be as dramatic if the US had kept it’s nose out of the region over the last many decades. And now Putin is sniffing around in the wreckage.

No I am not in favor of open borders but think we can utilize technology to detect movement on the border rather than build the wall of China. America has responsibility for the Americas by investing in bettering the lives of those who live in fear/ poverty. Proactive rather than reactive. A concept generally not understood by Republicans.

The majority of illegals are visa overstays so... they are flying in usually. The remainder are mostly at checkpoint crossings.

Let me guess, you think they are all walking across gaps in fencing???

You already are a sucker paying for everything, including Wall Street's bailouts, corporate welfare and, of course, Trump's wall and "easy" trade wars.

Yeah, Central America is a mess. Republicans in particular have been doing a fine job of ensuring as much.
