    Both Eisenhower and Kennedy had a military parade at their inaugurations. FDR had one when the King of England came over. HW Bush had one to celebrate the end of the Persian Gulf War. Trump got the idea when he went to France and Macron had one. This isn't anything that hasn't been done before. Sit back, relax and enjoy it.

    What does that have to do with it? This is showing off some of our military strength. Much like Ike and Kennedy. It's fitting, if not for our military we wouldn't be having a 4th of July. This is a big thing about nothing. Just go along what ever your Party complains about.

    Am I mad the a corrupt President is stealing money from the taxpayers to pay for parades in his own honor? Damn right I am.

    I would be mad if Obama or any other President did it too. You would be angry if Obama did it as well, but you happily refuse to hold Trump to any type of standard that you would be up in arms if a democratic president didn't live up to. That's the difference between you and me. I am NOT a hyprocite.

    For Trump it's more about having a parade to honor himself. He's been wanting a military parade since he took office because he saw a lot of dictators getting them and got jealous. The US military actually spoke out AGAINST having these types of parades.

    Senator John McCain ( decorated hero and Statesman ) changed his position

    when he saw how the ACA was helping Americans who did not have access to Healthcare.

    One officer spoke out against it and he's probably a Liberal. It's mostly Liberals complaining and they are saying the same things the Democratic Party is saying. What's wrong in showing off our military, it's happened twice before. Kennedy not only had tanks, but showed off one of our nuclear missiles. Liberals are nothing but a bunch of cry babies that are going to complain no matter what Trump does. They just can't get over he won and turned this economy into a powerhouse. Done nothing to help him or make America better.

    As of 2011, the Blue Angels budget was $37M annually. That is less than Democrats spent on the Mueller witch hunt for 2020 and doesn't count the millions spent by the Democrat House to further their 2020 prospects.

    I've personally seen a number of celebrations that include air shows and other military displays. Not until Democrats began throwing their temper tantrum over losing a campaign that they thought their cheating would win the day on did they begin having problem.

    No one has to show off. People are going to love this 4th. Children will have a chance to see, touch our tanks, troop carriers, etc. Something they may never get a chance to do in their lifetime. Look how excited they get just seeing or setting on a fire truck. This is just a bunch of nothing by the Democratic Party that hate everything Trump does and their followers that repeat every word coming out of their mouth. I doubt most have a free thought of their own, or they would see the fun this will be for tens of thousands there and for millions watching.

    The privileges of rank do not extend to breaking the law.

    Trump clearly does not understand that.

    I never thought things would get this bad. I alway knew that Trump has no respect for the law, and has always considered the law as either an inconvenience (like when he was hauled into Federal court for racial discrimination) or a weapon to use against his enemies, the people he cheated, and his creditors.

    No, he just sent pallets of cash to the biggest sponser of terrorism in the ME. Sent cash because the banks could not be used due to sanctions.
