And my argument is that he has said nothing racist, demonstrated nothing racist, and nobody who knows him and/or has associated with him thinks he is racist in any way, INCLUDING a bi-racial woman who dated him for two years. Which of course is likely why Brennan who is now a talking head for the Hate-and-trash-Trump-all-the-time left wing media. I don't think he feared Mueller in the least because he was one of them. But I think he is worried about what the IG and especially John Durham's investigation may expose about his conduct and possibly malfeasance when he was in the Obama Administration.

I have to gently correct your post.

The left in power (or in general) does not oppose freedom of speech and freedom of the press in all cases. They staunchly defend it when it is leftist, anti-Trump, anti-religion, anti-conservative, anti-Republican, anti traditional American values and/or anti individual responsibility and accountability.

They only oppose freedom of speech and freedom of the press (also persons) when it is conservative, pro or neutral to President Trump, pro religion, pro Republican, pro American values, pro law and order, pro individual responsibility and accountability and individual liberty.

 

But that was only when they were critical and/or honest in their reporting re Obama and/or his Administration, initiatives. The Obama Administration did unethically and dangerously go after consrvative journalists or any journalistic organizations who attempted any sort of objectivity.

But for the most part, Obama got very favorable press from the leftist MSM who deep sixed or gave only cursory mention of any actual or potential scandals or negatives resulting from Obama policies. They did little or investigation re anything regarding Obama but dutifully reported whatever the DNC or Democrat leadership fed to them. And they were quick to blame Republicans for anything Obama didn't accomplish. (I thank God every day for that actually.)

Conversely almost all of the leftist MSM reports well over 90% negatively on President Trump, his Administration, and/or Republicans in general as well as anyone supporting any conservative issue. Any hint of scandal or a negative gets front page headlines and leads the evening news and they dwell on it for days, even weeks. Again it is all fed to them by the DNC and Democrat leadership because they all use the identical dog whistles, the assigned adjective or phrase of the day, pretty much using it in identical ways. And they
all strain at the same gnats trying to make hyperbole or a misspeak or whatever is said into something terrible or sinister, most especially racism if they can find any way to tie it to that.

As a former journalist myself, the lack of journalistic honesty, integrity, and ethics is positively embarrassing to watch. I do think mainstream America is waking up to what they are doing and dislike it a lot.

Only Fox News who editorially is mostly conservative nevertheless was doing some decent investigative work and some decent journalism. They were not appreciated by the Obama Administration and continue to be trashed and maligned by pretty much everybody on the left then and now. They continue to be the only major news organization that is consistently doing some serious investigative work and resulting decent journalism.
