I went to college in Charlottesville, lived there for 5 years and commuted from a job in Lynchburg, VA to grad school for 5 more. There was never a reason to go to downtown over 10 years. Not ever.

So a radical professor at the school becomes mayor and decides to incite a riot by emulating ISIS by destroying a historical artifact. I believe the protesters had a permit. Antifa terrorists, without a permit, went downtown to start a fight with protesters. Some protesters were radical, but some were just history buffs who would have protested ISIS's destruction of Christian artifacts with equal fervor.

Trump was right. There were good people on both sides. I'm thinking fewer among the antifa terrorists because they were there as the thought police to attack people whose ideas they didn't think should be allowed.

 

Yeah, we hear all kinds of slogans being repeated at Lefty protests. And "We go where they go" by antifa. Or how about that hope and change motto?

Robert E. Lee was a Virginian first and foremost. If Virginia had gone with the Union, he likely would have fought for the Union Army. There was no reason to incite riots over a statue. If the socialist thought police really cared about historical statues, they would remove the Democrat Robert Byrd statue from the Capitol Building and rename the Senate office building for someone other than Democrat Richard Russell.

The fact is that Democrats don't care about anything but keeping their minority underclass as an underclass. They have nothing to sell the growing number of productive Americans.
