Iran leadership response to this is a desperate attempt to initiate war with the West to rally its citizens around the flag so they are enriching uranium, attacking shipping in the straits with mines, getting their own drones shot down and have now seized a UK ship. Compare and contrast that to a few short years ago when they were grinning ear to ear as Obama handed them a cargo plane full of cash to release US hostages which they used to further nuke resesrch, prop up their economy and finance terrorists. The were also one of the larger exporters of oil and now that industry is shut down in their country due to Trumps tough sanctions. Your response is yeah but they are enriching uranium so they are laughing at Trump.

I asked for examples of the positive things the gang of four has said about America as a way to refute my assertion that it's obvious they hate America by their constant and consistent criticism of our country. You could give no examples and instead tried to attack my feelings about America and I used my own metric with which you failed with to prove my point. I'm fully satisfied with my answer here while you failed to present your case on the gang of four and felt the need to lash out instead.

Iranian mullahs continue to sew mischief in the Middle East, are restarting Iran's nuclear program, are tightening controls on Iranians, and are moving Iran closer to Russia and China. Iranians are resentful of actions that are hurting their economy and even less likely to oust the mullahs.

Our influence over the world economy is weakening as Europe is developing its own mechanism for settling international payments. Eventually, we'll see less demand for dollars and that will translate into a lower standard-of-living for Americans.

A nuclear-armed Iran could all but force the Saudis to acquire nuclear weapons, probably from Pakistan.

Trump's gambit only works if he can force the mullahs to give up developing nukes or he somehow effects regime change in Iran.

Getting rid of Obama's Iran deal is a risky move with little upside. A smarter move would have been to keep the deal and put the screws on Iran for supporting Hezbollah, rebels in Yemen, etc.

I don't have to prove anything that's common knowledge to anyone with common sense and basic intelligence. If you don't know the truth by now, there is nothing I can do about your choice to remain ignorant.

 

You don't have to do anything, of course, but if you want to be taken seriously, you'll need to provide proof, even for things you think are "common knowledge". If it's common knowledge, it would be trivially easy to prove.
