There are many crimes that run amok until law enforcement get a handle on it. BUT ... law enforcement needs first to be tasked to do it.
Guns are stupid simple to make and getting easier. They can be reliably 3d printed now, including rifling the barrels. You are like the Luddites decrying technology that changes the world irrevocably. They were pissing into a hurricane too. So are you. You're going to spark a civil war trying that, and we've got all the guns so.... bad idea.
Uh bruh those links are modern. They banned guns like 20 years ago or more. Past time to "get a handle on it". Except you can't.
Didn't say that. You realize the NICS system has holes in it a mile wide right? State reporting doesn't always go through or get followed up on etc.
It's so cute and SO obvious how our disarmed foreign poster JUMP to the occasion every time there is shooting in the good ol U.S. Like they really give a shlt All they care about is making the rest of the world as miserable and controlled as they are! To bad foreigners, you had your chance to rights but you lacked the fortitude to stand up to you oppressors and look now, you have rocks and spears while you masters have automatic weapons.. So just do what they tell you to do
Except if they knew 100% what was in everything that crossed the line, we wouldn't be getting coke, heroin, meth etc from mexico. The southern border is a common route for ALL smuggling. Gangs acquire unregistered automatics somehow. Do the math.
The statement: There are indications he was not properly a NV resident. . -Your- supposition: ...the gun store owner did not do proper checks This is unsupportable.
So who checked that he was a "properly a NV resident"? Are you going to say that the checks are inadequate?
Very good! We are not talking about picking up a rock, are we. Do you feel it is prudent to carry a sack of rocks "just in case"? And it is difficult for me to understand how you did so well in school yet you equate "human rights" with weapons. How many rocks in your sack do you feel would be a "human right" for your protection? If sacks produced that are inadequate for carrying more than 20 rocks do you feel the sack-manufacturer would be denying you your "human right" to protect yourself sufficiently?
What part of "Dunblane ban" don't you get? “THE number of crimes involving handguns reached its highest level for seven years in 2000… The total was more than a third up on the previous year, according to figures given in a parliamentary written answer by Lord Bassam of Brighton, a Home Office minister.” Thomas Harding, “Handgun crime soars despite Dunblane ban,” The Telegraph, 11/01/01. Yes, UK gun control laws first banned Brits from carrying guns which led to soaring gun crime and defenseless targets for criminals. Solution? The "Dunblane ban". Pretty irrational, but I assume it is good politics in the UK.
I would be much happier if the NRA behaved like several of the state-level organizations. Still, the anti-gun left hates it, and that makes me smile.
The store, when they took the info off his valid NV driver's license, as the required and accepted proof of identity and residence.
When we get to the subject of voluntary self-abuse I'll let you know. Until then stick to the subject.
He apparently rented a place in the backwoods of NV, landlord reports he can't see that the guy ever actually moved in. About a month. He would've then taken his NV id he got having produced mail for that address in NV, and bought a gun. All without ever apparently living in NV. ID checks out, not store owners fault, but still not a proper NV resident thus not eligible to buy in that state. To do it proper as an out of state res, the NV FFL would've had to ship to a CA FFL who would make the sale. Except the items weren't legal in CA so no CA FFL could do the deal.
When all we have left to deal with is zip guns we will be justified in patting ourselves on the back.
