Trump panders to adversaries all of the time. I've criticized China's economic policies before and criticized the right for wanting to mimic them. I've said nothing praising the region, and I've had quite a bit to say criticizing communism.

 

And what if we had terrorist enclaves within a large segment of our nation, what would we do? Just let them disrupt our country with terrorist attacks or let them secede so they can ethnically cleanse the non Muslim Americans living there?

What you're saying sounds very much like the propaganda to break up Yugoslavia and Serbia. We supported the Albanian KLA terrorist organization in Kosovo, even though we knew they were killing and ethnically cleansing the Serbs. Yet true to its calling, CNN with its propaganda managed to turn the Serbs into the perpetrators, and the Albanian terrorists into the victims.

There is no way China will allow the US to break up its country. They are not stupid! Don't look at Miloshevik and Yugoslavia, Russia was too weak then to stop what we were doing, but it did teach Putin a lesson. This is why he turned Russia's military into the second most powerful in the world.
