    I’m Italian, Irish, German and Armenian. I was called every name in the book while growing up. They’re just words and words don’t hurt.

    I’m Scandinavian, German, and English, but I wasn’t ridiculed for that. I was ridiculed because I *wasn’t* Italian.

    Can some now find racism in anything? Sure seems that way. No one cares anymore.

    My husband has so much hair on his legs and his chest, I've referred to him as a gorilla before. He's white though. I've heard family members refer to the little kids as monkeys before. How did this suddenly become racist if they are black?

    The perpetually offended are becoming the bottom of society as they are bringing it down little by little. Don't feed into it.

    Nobody who is not black says the N-word anymore, only blacks say it. I haven't heard the J-word in fifty years and it likely has been forgotten completely.

    I guess to keep strife alive now it has evolved to the G-word, to keep strife and bad feelings alive I guess.

    He understands that the comment wasn't racist and was not used as a slur.

    She apologized in case he felt offended. Once again, I ask if you heard his full response. As the video clearly shows, she didn't use it as a slur, nor intended to.

    The reason I brought up the black panthers is because they jumped all over this story. Not as shocking as the NAACP "jew hating" story but it's up there in the eyes of the BPs.
