They are. Pelosi is doing everything she can to stop the wall from being built. Is that an idiotic thing to do ??

If Mexico is actually footing the bill then there is nothing for Pelosi to stop. You're not making sense. The only thing Pelosi can stop is any funding being done by the US. If Mexico is paying all the bills for the wall then Pelosi can't stop that. So what exactly is Pelosi stopping???

"This week the Pentagon outlined exactly which military construction projects will be defunded so that Trump can finally begin construction on roughly 175 miles of wall, about 8% of the nearly 2,000-mile U.S.- Mexico border.

It appears that 127 military projects in 23 states, including potential 2020 battlegrounds like Arizona, Colorado, Florida, New Mexico, North Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin, have essentially been scrapped to pay for Trump’s pet project, to the tune of $3.6 billion. The defunded projects include schools for the children of military personnel and projects aimed at deterring Russian aggression in Europe
    ."

But if Mexico is paying for the wall why the need to defund all these military projects???

Being supportive of property rights, does not mean you can never support eminent domain. The issue with eminent domain is not when it is being used for things like national defense, or major projects such as freeways or airports. The issue with eminent domain is when it is being used to support one single person or corporation over another. Eminent domain has been misused to allow property to be taken from people that was not in the National, or even an individual States interest.
The bar for when eminent domain is used must be kept very high so as to maximize property rights for us all, but if it was ever justified, the protection of our National Borders is one case when is for sure.

Where the geography supports it, we build 30 foot walls.

Where it does not, we come up with other solutions.

The whole idea was to restrict the freedom of movement of illegal aliens into our country.

The war isn’t over. China is being far worse than the US.

Name some farmers who have gone on welfare and some companies closing plants due to the China trade policies ??
