If it is a gene or series of genes then it doesn’t matter how much it is taught about would make no difference.
If it is environmental factors the above is also true.

Even if it is completely 100% a choice — and it isn’t —, like religious and political ideology, gay people would still be protected by the constitution and are no less deserving of rights than people who believe in various mythological beings.

If more people are choosing to be gay now that it isn’t a death sentence one would have to wonder why that’s happening?
Could it be people are simply just not hiding who they actually are now? If not why has heterosexuality suddenly become so unpalatable for some?
Could the anti-gay rhetoric be backfiring as people do not want to be associated with it?

My opinion is that people are more free to find what brings them happiness now than previously, which is a good thing.

 

It is not a perversion when overpopulation is an issue.
