    And they did... but as Schiff said today, the correct procedure seems to be badly broken... when the subject of a complaint can quash the complaint, that's a YUGE problem...

    Annual complaints to intel watchdog hotline have more than doubled since Trump took office

    It's about country first, not Trump?!!

    WASHINGTON — The number of complaints made to a confidential hotline designed to allow the reporting of waste, fraud and abuse in the intelligence community has skyrocketed since Donald Trump took office, government records show.

    According to the latest public report by the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community, the hotline received 563 contacts last year, up from 251 in 2016 and 369 in 2017.

    The numbers for the latest fiscal year are on pace to be even higher: There were 297 complaints in just the first six months, according to the report.

    Maybe, but it won't be that obvious.... It'll be in that Trump "code" that Cohen made clear he uses, probably even with foreign leaders he's close to... Maybe Trump's best asset is he doesn't easily self-incriminate, even though what he wants done is completely obvious to those he's asking to do them (McGahn, Lewandowski, Comey)...

    And who is "them" in this case?? Putie?? We don't yet know who, so it's hard to know what...

    Long way to go before the public gets the verbatim transcripts of these communications, or at least the questionable parts....

    BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAADDDDDD powers to discuss and negotiate and make deals. Can we rule out you committed treason? I heard a clip of the CNN commentator on these matters on my way home tonight even HE was saying this is over the top and that this whistleblower may be facing charges for leaking ANY converstation betweent the President and foreign power and the President had BRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDD PLENARY powers under the Constitution to speak with foreign leaderes and make deals. He has ultimate authority to declassify ANYTHING.

    That call is already under investigation by House Democrats who are examining whether Trump and his attorney Rudolph W.
