    IF...but there hasn't been.

    There's two problems with that statement.

    Biden threatened to have a prosecutor known for NOT prosecuting corruption removed from office. How does that HELP his son? If you want to NOT be investigated, wouldn't you leave the person in there who was doing ZERO investigation?

    Hunter Biden isn't accused of anything. If that's not the case, then the Ukraine could say so, but so far they aren't saying Hunter was the target of any investigation nor is he now. The company may be, and honestly it's not clear to me what the Ukraine would look into against the company.

    So near as anyone can tell, Biden threatened to withhold American tax payer aid until the Ukraine started rooting out corruption...so what's at issue here?

    It is illegal and impeachable to use the office for your personal or political gain. It is likewise impeachable and illegal to break the law to cover up the whistle blower complaint.

    If you say so. Time will tell. Polls in the next month or so as things progress will see how it's going. But it's already not great news for Trump. And before you distrust polls or claim how wrong they were in 2016, they weren't that wrong actually. And that's the thing you won't acknowledge is the razor thin wins in counties in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, counties that Trump has been in trouble with for a while now due to tariffs, which has to be the worst idea I've ever seen to solve a non-existent problem.

    Three things:

    1. That one July 25 phone call is likely not the whole story. Several reports have it that the whistleblower's primary alarm was about Trump's use of the phrase "I promise" when speaking to "a foreign head of state" which may have been someone other than Zelensky.

    2. They are calling this "the full transcript but just read the footnote at the bottom if the first page. Would you have trusted such a statement from Obama's White House? Sorry, but the transcript of the whistleblower's complaint is what congress needs to see. There's probably a lot more to this.

    3. He has already stated publicly that when he spoke to Zelensky he mentioned the Bidens and corruption in Ukraine. Even if he did not explicitly say "no aid for you until you investigate my enemy" that cat is out of the bag. They do politics differently over there, and when a head of state upon whom you are dependent says he would "like" this or that, or "could you do me this favor?" it's always an order and/or a threat.

    Personally, I'm glad House Dems/Pelosi have made it official, but after so many egregious and illegal and unconstitutional actions from Trump, I'm not holding my breath that "this time, we got him!"

    Why should anyone be settled? Since when are the American people expected to sit back and not question their government? Why do I sound like the right winger with that last sentence? When president's, Obama or Trump or Clinton or Bush or whomever, do questionable things, we should ask questions and demand answers. That's called self-governance. Did I ask fewer questions about Obama? Absolutely, because he was a better president. I also asked fewer questions of Bush jr because he TOO was a better president than Trump. Trump may not be the only narcissist we've elected, but he's one of the few to let that character flaw influence how he represents us. So you can cry and moan about partisan BS all you want, just know that if YOUR guy wasn't terrible at his job, far less of this would be happening.

    We don't actually know that. Turns out it's an unnamed source from Fox news, and my president tells me that if the source is unnamed, it's made up, so, sorry about trying to have your cake and eat it too. Do you only trust unnamed sources on Fox and not other news outlets? That says more about you than the whistle blower.

    Second hand doesn't equal hearsay, by the way. And I presume you are using hearsay in a legal context which only means it's inadmissible in court as direct evidence of something.
