Really??? Obama flew the copters? Unlocked the chem warehouse? Tell us how exactly Obama helped Assad and donnie's buddy, Putin deliver those chem attacks. This should be priceless
He's actually pretty consistent in his response to most national security/ foreign policy positions. Those are specific areas he feels free to criticize any administration including Trump. But he decided to support this GOP nominee from the moment Trump got the votes in the convention, against every and all attacks since that day. Republican standard-bearer Trump, can kill a baby on national television but he cannot play around with the fragile Middle East power dynamic. yes he is serious about stopping Trump here, but he may not have the votes Trump will probably ignore this. He has far more immediate and pressing problems that require Graham's loyal embrace.
While separating children from their family may be the most cruel thing Trump has done, this is by far the most stupid. And that's quite something, considering that this President has taken "stupidity" to new levels: pulling out of the Paris Accord, of the Iran deal, legitimizing KJU, ... and so many others.... But turning on our allies is one that.... I don't know how we will ever recover from our loss of credibility. With our allies, with those who are helping us fight terrorism, with the whole world... Of course,, there must also be a positive side: I have a feeling that the "Trump Tower Istanbul" controversy is about to end.
Don's buddy? The current President actually bombed them when they crossed the red line. Obama did nothing, but invite Putin in.
That's the predictable part of Lindsey.... Everything Trump does is bad, but nothing bad enough for the proper recourse... Oh well... As long as Lindsey continues opposing the policy, we'll leave others to work on opposing the corruption...
Huh. Fox starts airing new evidence against Trump in the impeachment inquiry. Lindsey Graham attacks him on Syria. I wonder if the Right is starting to hedge their bets a bit. Also, while I generally support a draw down in foreign military excursions, I think leaving former allies high and dry will have long term consequences WRT finding allies in foreign regions.
If you buy into that propaganda that Assad gassed his own people, you will buy into anything they throw your way.
That why he surrendering and giving Syria to Vlad And donnie has had no shortage of praise for putin. Even said he believed him and the KGB over US troops and intel And of course that whole idea that he wanted to build Vladdy a $50 mil penthouse
Only one President promised to be "more flexible" in exchange for helping him win the 2012 election....and boy was he more flexible...Ukraine, Syria.....you name it....Obama bent over for Putin.
It must be so disappointing for the Trump haters watching him withdraw troops, rather than deploy them. They had such high hopes that Trump was the warmonger that would feed their insatiable bloodlusting fantasies of what Trump would be. Hopes dashed.
Yeah, his love for him must explain those crushing sanctions he put on him Odd that donnie worked to eliminate those sanctions even before he took office. Boy did Flynn pay for that LOL
Trump certainly put additional sanctions on Russia....that have really hurt their economy... Nobody worked to remove any sanctions, sanctions were added by Trump. Obama's didn't really put any "crushing" sanctions on him, if he would have, Putin wouldn't be all over the map like he is today. Trum's cleaning up that mess
Check your facts yet again Repub congress even had to pass legislation to prevent him from doing that Ohh, and listen to the Flynn tape Oops
Prevent him from doing what? Trump added sanctions The Flynn call where he simply told the Russian Amb not to overreact? Flynn likely saved lives, by using his connections to keep the peace.
I wanted to impeach Trump once he was named as Individual 1 in a federal document charging a felony CFV last December.. but I digress... Lindseys overall support of Trump is predictable.... what's unpredictable is what will occasionally set him off, but i suspect @btthegreat in post #30 nailed it...
Surrendering to the enemy never saves lives. And he told them not to worry about the sanctions, they would take care of them And here's more pesky facts https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/7/28/16055630/congress-trump-russia-sanctions-veto
You wanted to impeach Trump before he was even sworn in. Please stop pretending like you care about having a valid reason to destroy Orange Badness.
Only Obama surrendered to Syria, when he turned his back on the gassed citiznes and invited Putin in. Yeah, told him not to overreated. and as your link highlights, Trump added sanctions...that was one set of many
Feel free to try and back that up with all my posts prior to 10/31/17, when I joined this forum due to disgust at what I consider the worst first 8 months in presidential history.... And those were the good times...
