Next time the US asks for help in any conflict, the answers going to be, “Sorry, we remember what you did to the Kurds ...”.

cause oil prices are down it is not worth while to get it out of the ground.
If the Sauds stops selling oil, then prices will go out a little bit and the Americans will fill in the gap.
Even better, if there is no problem with oil production.
Then as cost of production goes down, it will be worth while to produce it anyways several years down the road which will lead to further decline in oil prices.
Guess what, cost of energy is going down for years now, while cost of human labor goes up.
Soon the dumbs who have been milking the world because they had oil in the desert will go under.

If the ppb goes down a lot it puts US producers out of business because we have the highest lift costs in the world and almost no economies of scale.. Most US well produce less than 50 barrels a day.

Not really. Those high cost are of a political nature, not a technical one.

Well, if you just want the most recent one, Newsweek reports that "[T]he Kurdish-led YPG, a major backer of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), were previously given guarantees by the U.S. that if they withdrew from the Syrian-Turkish border in order to create a 'safe zone," they would receive U.S. support in keeping the Turks at bay."

Who was authorized to give this guarantee? Did Congress pass a resolution? Did the President grant this guarantee? Who in the US government is authorized to protect one party against a second party that is also a NATO ally?

Really? I wonder how Taiwan, Japan, and Hong Kong are feeling right now? More secure or less secure of our promises?

Is Poland up for grabs? Let's think about that. Putin grabs part of Ukraine; Erdogan is grabbing part of Syria. The US does nothing, and Putin has an itch for Poland. Wonder what the Poles are thinking tonight.

You may think our honor is intact, but reason and reality show the true picture. America's word is crap. There's is no line we won't move, and no dictator we will stand up to. Liberty as an ideal is dying; pragmatism as rationalization grows stronger; the future as a free world flickering. To save that world the Human Being needs to rediscover reason as its guiding principle.

Dr. Leonard Peikoff: "The heroism of the Founding Fathers was that they recognized an unprecedented opportunity, the chance to create a country of individual liberty for the first time in history—and that they staked everything on their judgment: the new nation and their own “lives, fortunes, and sacred honor.”--http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/founding_fathers.html

Now, as one honest mind to hopefully another: Do you think Trump's actions in Syria--giving a dictator for life the green-light to wipe out one of the most westernized people in the region--honor the Founding Father's heroism or betrays it? You know where I stand.

    (In case you missed it:
The truth, and nothing but: How Erdogan FKD Trump.

So what did the Founders have to say about our obligation to the Kurds? Hong Kong? Taiwan or Poland?
Trump pulled our people back from an area that was about to see combat. How many American lives are you willing to sacrifice for the Kurds?

Trump got punked by a dictator, and the Nationalists are using pragmatism as moral cover. But reality can't be hidden from the rational mind. Trump sold out America ideals for political favor--and his worst crime isn't even that corruption, it's in being an imbecile. 25th him. ASAP--impeachment will take way too fkng long.

    A break down:

The problem with the Kurds is that the lands they want in Syria to form their nation, never belonged to them. Their lands have always been in Turkey, Iran and Iraq.

In the Treaty of Sevres after WWI, the Kurd lands in Turkey were going to be administered by the British. The Armenians were to get their lands, the Assyrians theirs, and the Greeks theirs - that is with the exception of Constantinople. It was to remain under the British and French control.

Eventually the British would have given the Kurds their lands, but the infighting in Paris between the British, French and Italians went on for 3 years after the war, and that gave Attaturk enough time to regroup his army. He started taking over Anatolia, and so the Treaty of Sevres never came to fruition.

Today Turkey wouldn't have these problems with the Kurds if Erdogan didn't want to restore the 'Sultanate'. To do this he had to restore his power and that couldn't be done as long as the Kurds refused to vote for him. So he restarted the war. This time though the Kurds were prepared for him, and the Turkish troops did suffer.
