You get to speak for yourself, not our troops. I have relatives in the military and they agree with Trumps move. They also do not speak for our troops, they speak for themselves. If you have a poll proving your assertion above, I would be happy to see it.
Using the results, i.e. the immediate invasion and then wholesale slaughter and torture of thousands of US allies, of Trump's decision to withdraw troops from the region is not a good metric for Trump.
I also have active and retired military in my family. Why they agree we shouldn’t be there only one agrees with how trump went about it. trump has lots of great ideas, his executions and rhetoric leaves something to be desired however.
The condemnation of Trump's decision was also condemned by 2/3rds of the First, Republicans in the House and the same will apply in the Senate. So, assigning that opinion to Democrats is pure fiction. Instead, you should assign that judgment to "anyone not predisposed to defend everything Trump says and does." Second, Trump did not stop the Turkish invasion. They negotiated a "cease fire" after Turkey invaded and took control of the areas that they wanted. And before they could negotiate that "cease fire," Trump left tens of thousands of US allies to be slaughtered and tortured in the meantime.
Yes please because I suspect it will be to the comment about “more freedom after the election” which is in no way a commitment to anything and more likely a “fob off” And it is a true and eternal “whataboutism” the issue here is Trumps letter which has the insight, grace and maturity of a sulking five year old child
Too late. Fake Don is screwed. Trump's top aide on Thursday acknowledged that the administration held up military Ukraine aid over the president's desire for a political probe, undermining past denials of any quid pro quo and blowing up weeks of White House messaging amid an escalating impeachment inquiry. https://www.politico.com/news/2019/10/17/mulvaney-confirms-ukraine-aid-2016-probe-050156
Every part Let me put it this way.......you would expect a better level of speech in a formal letter if it were written by the local dog catcher
Bull! Find another excuse! When speaking to a non English speaker it is even more important to use formalised language devoid of colloquialisms and euphemisms
BS! When speaking with people of another language in which English is their second language, it's beast to speak in "child speak" to make sure there is no confusion. I do that all the time with I communicate with my company's foreign offices.
Time for a little reality here - I know, life's a b!tch. Obama drew a red line about using chemical weapons on civilians. America was ready to "launch" punitive strikes and Russia stepped in. Let me say that again because some folks need repetition - Russia stepped in and removed the chemical weapons and weapon making equipment to protect it's good friend Syria. You probably missed that because it was only on MSM.
Oh boo-hoo-hoo-hoo! Erdogan just agreed to a cease fire. Plain talk gets things done. Ain't it great??
lol, you make it seem like it was a one time thing. Syria used chemical weapons multiple times over a period of years. If Russia had to step in it is because Obama failed to live up to what he said he was going to do.
and yet: https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2...offensive-200000-civilians-flee/#.XajjoWJlDZE "Speaking after crisis talks with Erdogan in Ankara, Pence said that under the deal all military operations would be paused to allow a pullback of Kurdish YPG militia over a 120-hour period. The Turkish military operation would end once that withdrawal was complete, Pence told a news conference."
Trump promised to pull us out of the ME mess. He did that, and more. I suppose youd rather us fuel up the jets and load up the cannons for a showdown?
