In what universe does thanking you for the clarification, turn into an attempt to distort what you said. You said what you said. Now you're walking it back.

    Good for you! Good job.

    I edited nothing.

I am not walking anything back

Still can’t answer what he was referring to... why is that?
    You mentioned something about integrity?

    "why is that?"

I haven't seen the quote, in context. Reportedy, he said: 'phony emoluments clause'. I don't know if he said that, or what the full meaning might have been. I'd have to see the full text of his comments in order to make any judgement. For all I know, he might have been saying: 'a phony application of the emoluments clause', or any number of other possibilities.

All that I know, from the reports I've seen, is that he didn't say that 'The Constitution is phony'.

You don’t know if he said it but you are sure it is a “recent Fake News meme”. Yeh, that about sums up your username.

There is video, might be a deep fake. We may never know.

    Your opinion is incorrect.

The impeachment inquiry is following the rules, as Fox's Legal Analyst affirms.

The Republican hooliganism is a sign of desperation as evidence against Fake Don mounts. Their ploy to divert attention from Fake Don to Democrats and the proper procedure they are following is meaningless since it will become public once the "grand jury" phase, the fact-finding, has been completed.

yea, and he ran out of the room with the person who was testifying... how odd.... why? why not just keep going with the "shifty" investigation... why? hmmmmmmm
well said, they just come up with "talking points" to defend the way this investigation is going down. There is SO much corruption the left is trying to hide in this... I pray it all comes out. The dirty covering the dirty.... why isn't anyone investigating the Biden's????????????

That's the rules for hearings...but not for impeachment....the House requires either and individual member to bring it up like any other bill, or a resolution, it's voted on, then goes to the proper committee which is the Judiciary Committee

If you have a link to him saying that The Constitution is phony, I'd appreciate you for posting it.

Republicans who sit on the committees are also able to review all documents and ask questions of the same witnesses. Why do you believe they are hiding things from you?

I'm telling you all, I find myself in the middle of both parties. I have voted Democrat and Republican. My father is a hard core Democrat. My husband is a Republican. I have friends who are both parties. There is NOT one person I have talked to, who thinks the way the democrats are going about this "impeachment" cough cough.... is good. You can argue about if they have to right to do it this way if you want, but simply put, intelligent Americans believe this to be wrong.

Please cite the specific rule that you imagine exists of which Fox Legal Analyst Nepolitano is unaware when he insists the rules are being followed..

So far, this is nothing. All I see is an attempt to shape public opinion.

If your observations can be extrapolated to the general population, the Democrats are failing in that effort.

DP pols and the Fake News MSM know that "Democracy Dies In Darkness".
That's why Pelosi/Schiff are trying to hide in the dark.
Democrat pols and their minions are very anti-democratic.

    Sure, I've posted his repeatedly...but here https://history.house.gov/Institution/Origins-Development/Impeachment/

"ndividual Members of the House can introduce impeachment resolutions like ordinary bills, or the House could initiate proceedings by passing a resolution authorizing an inquiry. The Committee on the Judiciary ordinarily has jurisdiction over impeachments, but special committees investigated charges before the Judiciary Committee was created in 1813."

    That's from the House's website

Im sorry, I am full up on strawman arguments today — come back tomorrow.
Here is a hint for you though, quotations are important.
    You’ll figure it out ;)

Oh, come on! I gave you credit for clarifying your post, quite a while back.

You have yet to retract your false charge against me. I'm giving you an excessive amount of benefit of the doubt, here.

I'm done unless you either prove your false charge, or retract it.

    I edited nothing!

Our corrupt bipartisan ruling political class is just trying to dodge another election they know they can't win.

"The Tarrance Group pollsters acknowledge that the president's constant attacks on his perceived enemies has had his desired effect. GOP voters place the highest blame for the rise in incivility on Democratic leaders and media outlets such as CNN, The Washington Post and the New York Times."

You put words in quotes that I did not have in quotes.

I can’t tell who is trolling vs what is real anymore (see my signature)
If you are sincere I apologize for being aggressive, if you are trolling congratulations — your end goal is unfortunately probably in sight.

Where is your "rule" - concerning which Fox News Legal Analyst Anthony Nepolitano is unaware - that impeachment inquiries must be conducted in "public"?
