The Judge is talking about the rules in regards to hearings....I am referring to Impeachment specifically, and the rule is outlined in the link and quote I provided.

Shifty isn't conducting an impeachment inquiry....he isn't even the Chair o the Committee with jurisdiction over it. It's simply a shame

    Show what I edited!

I made no claim that you said what I put in quotes. I conceded that you didn't say what I put in quotes. I only claimed that that was the apparent meaning you wanted to convey.

How can it be read differently?

Who knew bringing in an extremely polarizing unqualified bankrupt adulterous NYC con artist against the opposition to the majority of Americans would have disastrous effects.

    Everyone did.

Those who support small limited government support Trump because he is obviously the AntiFa President standing against 17 secret police/spy agencies and the rest of the obviously corrupt USG Deep State and its ilk.

I blame the RNC. They were scared to death he'd run as an independent, using his own money, and split the Republican vote, just as Ross Perot did, when he made Bill Clinton President. Trump just bullied and bragged his way to the nomination and the Presidency.

Wave the effing white flag, man. Trump is getting impeached because he is guilty. The House is following the correct process. Whining about it being behind closed doors is ridiculous because A) that's the rule, so witnesses can't get their stories straight ahead of time and B) among the three committees doing the questioning, there are 47 Republicans.

Got it? Capiche? I'm done with the whiners on this thread, you're all out of ammo and are nit picking the freakin' process, as if that even mattered. Trump is being treated far more fairly than he has ever treated anyone in his pathetic little life. Deal with it.

Well start the impeachment inquiry, and impeach him. He won’t be convicted on what evidence has been released

What has trump done to limit government that actually benefits the average American?

Let’s just assume the list is significant; how much damage are you willing to endure to our institutions, our world standing, and the relationships Americans have with one another to achieve this goal of “small government”?

Both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate have the right to make their own rules governing their procedure, and to change those rules.

The Fox News Analyst was speaking about the impeachment inquiry specifically.

You have yet to cite your rule that contradicts him and requires public hearings.

Republicans have had equal time to question witnesses and full access to the meetings. Their childish stunt to disrupt the hearing was calculated to distract from substantive testimony. Their hooliganism only delayed it.

After the raucous mob that had evaded capitol police and violated the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility had been removed and security restored, Laura Cooper, a senior Defense Department official who oversees Ukraine policy, reportedly was able to resume answering questions from both Democratic and Republican lawmakers and staffers in response to a subpoena. She was explaining to lawmakers the process of distributing military aid and being asked whether the appropriate steps were followed on Ukraine.

It would be better for Trump to articulate a plan of action that would result in a significant transfer of power and wealth from our very big very bad government to the productive American working class.

Absent that he still represents the only effective visible and determined resistance to the corrupt very dangerous USG Deep State.

It appears that Trump has tried to reopen the Mueller investigation, substituting Rudy Giuliani for Mueller. Biden aside, for the moment, Rudy's investigation was to find evidence in Ukraine that would prove the Crowdstrike Conspiracy as true and part of a Democratic plot to fabricate a story blaming the Russians for 2016 election interference...i.e. a conclusion already investigated by our intelligence agencies and Mueller, resulting in the indictments of approximately two-dozen Russians.

The evidence? From the investigation that you are bitching out because it isn’t yet open to the public?

What drove a pack of 30 rampaging Trump zealots to disrupt and sabotage a proper inquiry being conducted by both Republican and Democratic committee members in a secure facility under the rules of the House?

The truth is being exposed, and their previous attempts to keep it hidden via legal maneuvers have failed.

    Where will it lead?

Start it? What do you think they've been doing the last couple of weeks? These hearings are the impeachment inquiry. And we won't know all of the evidence until they are finished with witness testimony. However:

    He did it.
    He admitted it.
    Others have corroborated it.
    He's being impeached for it.

Stick a fork in him ... he's done.

He's shown the same behaviors all of his life. The difference now is that for the very first time ever, he's being held accountable for his words and deeds, and his toddler-like behavior affects the whole freakin' world. Running for president was the biggest mistake he's ever made in a long life of screw-ups.

Trumpsters have nothing as a defense against Trump's deeds, so they're going after the impeachment process. So silly, claiming it's secret from them. There are 47 Republicans in the SCIF.

Bunch of crybabies, IMO. Especially Gaetz ... he needs some cheese to go with that whine about Schiff blocking him the other day from entering. Gaetz has no right to be there ... he isn't on any of the committees conducting the interviews. What a putz.

All of those who took place in that "look over there!" stunt deserve to get their butts handed to them next election, but probably have MAGA-heavy constituencies.

Trump has cut taxes, cut regulations, cut the bureaucracy and blocked the corrupt bipartisan political class from starting new wars. That is a pretty good record given the rabid opposition from the Deep State that he has had to overcome.

“Nearly a year into his takeover of Washington, President Trump has made a significant down payment on his campaign pledge to shrink the federal bureaucracy, a shift long sought by conservatives that could eventually bring the workforce down to levels not seen in decades.

By the end of September, all Cabinet departments except Homeland Security, Veterans Affairs and Interior had fewer permanent staff than when Trump took office in January — with most shedding many hundreds of employees, according to an analysis of federal personnel data by The Washington Post.

The diminishing federal footprint comes after Trump promised in last year’s campaign to “cut so much your head will spin,” and it reverses a boost in hiring under President Barack Obama. The falloff has been driven by an exodus of civil servants, a diminished corps of political appointees and an effective hiring freeze.”
THE WASHINGTON POST, How the Trump era is changing the federal bureaucracy, By Lisa Rein and Andrew Ba Tran, December 30, 2017.
