Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) on Thursday voted in favor of starting impeachment hearings against President Donald Trump — and it was a major disappointment for some of the conservative fans she’s made in the past for defying Democratic Party orthodoxy.

One such fan, conservative author Ann Coulter, flew into a fit of denial after being told that Gabbard had actually voted in favor of the impeachment inquiry — and even falsely claimed that the congresswoman from Hawaii was really a senator.

    (Emphasis added).

    https://www.rawstory.com/2019/10/an...i-gabbard-votes-to-start-impeachment-process/

    Absolutely HILARIOUS.

Ann disses Tulsi (and poor CLUELESS Ann is so Misinformed that she refers to Tulsi as a "Senator"). :roflol:

    You can't make this up.

Do people actually pay attention to this RW COMEDIAN?

Anyway, good for Tulsi to vote the way she did.

    Thoughts?

Apparently this vote changes the Rules of Engagement.

Obviously, You (and Me and Everyone Else) aren't expecting Trump to be actually Convicted and Removed.

They couldn't get 20 GOP Votes for Impeachment in The Senate even if Trump committed a Capital Felony on Live TV.

    ^That is a given.

STILL--It will be fun to watch the "Process Play Out".

    Carry on. :salute:

Did RW talking heads actually think that the Congress woman who posted this vvvv assessment of Trump would support Trump?

    Exactly, Mr. DL.

    You nailed it.

    My only interpretation is THIS:

The RW has "Selective Love" for Tulsi...

...BUT, only if she can further an agenda.

    Oh well...:salute:

Sure being a tulsi voter , might as well. While tulsi has not been like the other head hunting lying and obsessive trump hater, so deeply as to be mentally deranged she obviously was ok in voting for an enquiry.

I would think that trump voters are ok with tulsi because she is running on stopping regime change wars and investing in our D rated infrastructure. She is not open borders and does not believe in free Healthcare for illegal aliens

I agree with ann on immigration and representing our working middle class that neither party has done for decades.

Gabbard is a maverick who is still 'evolving' who changes her mind from what she said and believed 5 or 10 years ago. People simply don't have enough of a pattern in her past votes to predict her and everyone is going to take turns being elated and disappointed until they give up trying and just listen to what the woman said last week rather than what she said in 2014. .

Intelligent people (not saying she is or isn’t) often listen to new evidence and arguments so their opinions are subject to change.
This is a plus for her in my book.

Absolutely, but we want to know why they changed their minds. What argument or what facts began their movement on issue X. Matter of fact if you ask a politician if they have ever 'flip flopped' on any position in the last 5 years, and they can't think of one, don't vote for them! We don't need consistency if consistency is stagnation.

Hopefully the choice will be between tulsi and trump and tulsi wins.

Or sanders with tulsi as his vp and sanders wins.

Then we can watch the sanders haters run a coup on sanders since the precedent was made on trump.

That attempted coup will be entertaining, but you have to convince Sanders to call a foreign govt leader and withdraw congressionally authorized support to extort cooperation in his re-election bid to gather dirt on his likely opponent and his family , and then you have to hope that Sanders is stupid enough to have others on the phone when he does it.

It will probably start offwith collision with communists, the Chinese. For sanders is a communist and of course he conspire with his mentors to beat trump.

His haters and right wing media will emulate the dems and msm and it will be vicious.

The political precedent has been set by dems and msm .

But are the repubs capable of the depth of lying needed?

Or do they own a conscience?

You did. In fact, you paid so much attention to her that you devoted an entire thread to her AND posted (so far) five times out of seventeen total posts made in said thread so far - eighteen counting my own.

As you yourself would say, why is the LW so easy to troll? Looks like Coulter is trolling the left like a boss.

There ya go. Yet another thread of yours deconstructed with ridiculous ease.

So a woman who I dislike made a comment about someone you should also dislike because you think conservatives like her and you think that is somehow thread worthy.

In threads like this you woukd typically call Coulter a nobody and then comment about gabbard’s low polling which indicates she’s just another person touring the country on her campaign’s dime.

Is the impeachment thing going so badly for you that you feel the need to redirect your hate onto a woman who has zero influence over your life? I smell misogyny.

By the way, I offered to make bets on whether Trump woukd still be president after the left’s attempted coup. You didn’t take me up on it. But prior history says you don’t pay up on lost bets. So I’m not taking bets from you.

    Carry on.

Her conservative cred is based entirely on her opposition to identity politics and foreign policy positions.

    She is still a democrat.

Tl;Dr--You are still fixated on me and all that you have is Ad hominem and Troll Posts?:bored:

Not really sure what any of that stuff about "bets " has to do with the topic.:bored:

You also have multiple misspellings of the word "would".

As far as Coulter (and the actual OP Topic), it is hilarious how many of the RW do hang on her every word.

However, if you are not a fan, that is certainly your right.

As far as Tulsi (and Coulter's opinion of Tulsi), some care and some don't.

Still, everyone would admit, that Coulter's meltdown was pretty funny.

    Oh well. Carry on. :salute:

Tulsi is representing Hawaii so she didn't have much choice.

So what if Ann called her a Senator. I call Tulsi "Apple Bottom Sweet Cheeks" myself.

You have capitalized multiple words that do not need capitalization. Your own imperfect grammar is noted.

In conclusion, please leave correcting grammar to the professionals.

Remind me who started a thread where the first two words in the title are Ann Coulter? That would be you. It appears that you are hanging on her every word. Why are you doing so? This seems a reasonable question to ask.

Please make your posts harder to deconstruct. I prefer a challenge.

As far as Tulsi, she's right on some things and wrong on others and that goes for Ann as well. I remember a thread where Denizen of all people agreed with Coulter, so there is that.

    Great point.

Ann Coulter is a COMEDIAN (who does shtick to sell books).

But, yeah, who really knows (or cares) what she thinks about Tulsi (or anything else).:salute:
