Would you mind stating actual instances of the claims you make? The fact Trump does as you claim is not a stand-alone matter. "Violence against protestors" for example? No right-minded person supports violence for the sake of it but in some cases, violence is justified. Can you add to your claim?

Anyway, I think the schism here is between people who see Trump as Hitler and those who know he's just trolling with all that "punch him in the mouth" talk, which to my knowledge did exactly once. How many newspapers or TV stations has he tried to shut down -- not criticize, which they have to tolerate like everyone else -- but actually shutter? How many people exterminated because of their race, how many invasions of which countries? How many people subjected to "extreme torture"?

The answer to every question is zero, and therein lies the difference.

 

Yes, I have seen this happening more and more since about 2010. Not only do they become quite labile (hair trigger emotions), but they also lose anything resembling manners and civility. It's definitely a new phenomenon in the broader community, being previously restricted to the significantly mentally ill, and religious extremists.

 

A perfect example of that lability and 'unhingedness'.
