Sorry, I'm just pointing out that your argument is fatally flawed.

In order to succeed, your argument demands the predisposition that an action when committed by Trump is improper, but when similar actions are committed against Trump they're proper.

 

You have yet to find a similar action committed against Trump. Quick reminder, this is what Trump did:

But EVEN IF you could find a "similar action committed against Trump," you are just pointing out hypocrisy. And that is NOT a reason to argue that Trump's behavior is proper.

 

Repetition of a false narrative doesn't magically make it true.

The charge of seeking campaign assistance is completely made up.

 

I already explained why it is perfectly accurate to claim that Trump sought campaign assistance. You ran into the waiting arms of a **** whataboutism when you were asked to even explain why that description is inaccurate.

 

I am saddened to say, much of today's current conservative literature & news is lacking in truth or integrity or facts. They've learned from Trump that a falsehood can be just as powerful in politics as truth. Many Republicans are now making their careers based on falsehoods--again, like Trump.

I am increasingly concerned by the growing reliance by conservatives on distrust & conspiracy theories that have no basis in fact. Trump is a champion of them & his supporters seem incapable of separating fact from fiction when either comes from Trump. Because of this inability or simply indifference toward honesty & integrity, both Trump & his supporters have become a real threat to America as a Constitutional entity. Trump is a walking national disaster, who is rapidly dismantling our successful governmental institutions as President. To him, they are competing with him for power, & they must be dismantled to assure his personal rule. His supporters are so lost in conspiracy theories & imagined fears, that they are incapable of seeing the benefits of protecting our established Constitutional system. That Trump is a bad replacement for that system is a fact his supporters might learn too late, for Trump will take their personal freedoms away right along with everyone else's, given a chance. Trump is a threat to America, & needs to be impeached, convicted & removed from office-----NOW.

I have no hatred toward anyone. But what Trump & Barr are doing to the Dept of Justice, coupled with what Trump, Guiliani & Pompeo are doing to the State Dept, scares me, because it is so much like what Hitler did to the Weimar Republic in Germany. Until now, Americans have never allowed such abuses of power by any President. I'm at a loss to understand why they are doing it now with Trump.

 

And I already explained that Trump never asked for campaign assistance. Spin isn't proof of anything. Opinion isn't proof of anything.

 

Trump has been in office for 2 3/4 years, yet the only abuse of The Constitution, that we have seen, is by Democrats.

I've been doing a 'pretty ok' job of ignoring the daily news cycle on this subject, along with most of the threads.

how long should I wait until I get a legit update?
1 week, 1 month, 3 months? <with mueller it turned out to be over a year.

I was figuring that I wait for a real bombshell to come out and then I can get updated.
not the mini-bombshells that turned out to be those little firecrackers you get at the grocery store.
