    I would agree.

When I was in high school guys used to drive to school with their deer rifle in a rack in their truck. No one ever took their gun into the building and shot anyone. When I was in college I walked from my dorm to my freshman speech class with a double barreled shotgun and did a presentation oh how to properly clean and maintain a shotgun.

    People have changed not guns.

    of course,
when you go to Chicago people think about nature, wide open spaces, caribou.

when go to to Alaska you think about gang violence.

wait, I think maybe one of the above has a better marketing campaign, eh?

    Arm trained teachers and staff.

Gun control policies don't work. We have been saying this SI ce Columbine and all we get is more of the same.

What about Americans makes them want to kill their fellow man?

We need to understand why people want to kill their fellow man.

Guns are part of it - the well known “weapons effect”. The culture also plays a large part though

In the 1950s any American could purchase a Browning automatic rifle from the Sears catalog. What has happened to us since then?

Is it possible that a gun made him act the way he did?

I grew up around unsecured arms, a .22/410 over under, a 16 gauge semi auto and a 38 S&W. By 14, i was shooting in the woods, all by my lonesome. Shooting up a school, never entered my mind . Your'e correct, it's not the guns.

Good, the taxpayers are off the hook. Normal folks cant understand insanity, even if a mass shooter, did their best to spell it out.

It certainly doesn't seem to be the guns.

Since I have qualified with the .45 cal semi automatic pistol, trust me on this. When he shot himself in his head, there would be no recovery where he could be confessing anything.

So qualifying with a .45 makes you a doctor?

As a kid, I saw more guns in public than today. And we did not have to endure the hate from the Democrats against guns. Nor from Aussies.

In American, no matter what happens someone is likely to try to sue someone.

Sure, it was the source of the voice in his head... at least I am sure many GCAs would opine so.

You think that a mystery? I was raised in Belfast, Ireland, one of the most restrictive firearms places in the world. But, before the age of 10 I not only made zip guns, but at 8, acquired a WWII Walther PPK that I carried nearly every day. By 14 I had several guns including a Sterling MK II machine gun. I find it amazing people somehow think children can’t get guns... really... in LA or Chicago... or anywhere?
If you have a child of 10 or older, likely they are 1 degree from another that has a gun though they would deny it; only group that holds more stringently to anti snitching protocol than convicts or criminals are teens.
