Notice how even the most ardent Trump haters offer no alternative to Trump? Will they be voting Biden or Warren? Or maybe Sanders. I find it amusing they're too embarrassed to declare support for anybody. It's like they can't think past TRUMP HAS TO GO. Simple minds.

So, because you don't believe something, you feel entitled to state your opinion as fact? Just like Trump.

How about a decoder ring for "real democrat," "build the nation," and "believed in America?"
Did you even know what a dog and pony show is?

So you need it explained to you?? I don't think so. You know that denial is a necessity on the left, because if actual facts are acknowledged then explanations are due.
You know that a parade of red herrings, BS and twisted stories represented as somehow qualified- an alternative reality is something people do to deflect focus and avoid explaining the real facts.
All of which of course- is denied.

Bad for the spirit and soul to do that. Self-destructive.

Elections are kind of like going to a restaurant. You place an order for what you think you want- but it's not always what they try to feed you...

Trump has become a menace and should be replaced ASAP. Impeachment? Sure. It's faster.

Warren? Yes. Sanders? Moot. He'll never get the nomination. Biden? Okay. Buttigieg? Yes. Klobuchar? Yes. Any of them is preferable to Trump.

Me? Been voting for more than 50 years and never before voted for a Democrat.
    Uh huh.

Never voted Democrat but would vote for Biden or Warren? And you expect us to believe that? You're a riot, Langley. The more you talk, the less I believe.

Once again, President Trump is doing exactly what he said he would do when he was on the campaign trail. Apparently, he is proposing a massive increase in the amount of money South Korea pays for the presence of U.S. troops in South Korea. There is a thread about it here on PF. http://politicalforum.com/index.php...ul-questions-alliance.564357/#post-1071166650

The following is a copy/paste of my comment on that thread ....

It's interesting when you actually do some research on something.

What I found out by searching the internet is that what South Korea has been paying for our troops does not go to the U.S. Instead, it goes right straight back into their own economy, because what they are paying for is for base construction, maintenance, and South Korean civilian personnel who work on those bases.

    https://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-trump-allies-20160930-snap-story.html

By 2018, the South Korean contribution was $860 million which paid about 41% of non-personnel costs. https://thediplomat.com/2019/01/the...-cost-sharing-agreement-has-expired-now-what/

So then I wondered what it costs to have 1 member of the military. So I found out that the defense budget is $693 billion, and we have about 2.1 million active and reserve personnel in the military, and then I did the division. The answer was an astounding $330,000 per member. That is the total cost, including all of their support and equipment.

    There are 28,500 U.S. military personnel in South Korea. 28,500 X $330,000 = $9.4 billion.

That is the true cost of keeping our forces in South Korea, and South Korea is only paying $860 million which they pay into their own economy rather than directly to the U.S.

No wonder Trump wants them to pay us $4-5 billion!

This is an example of a politician actually doing what he said he would do on the campaign trail.

Who woulda thunk it? (End of copy/paste)

Go Trump! South Korea has a prosperous, first-world economy, and they owe us a lot for guaranteeing their independence and freedom. The time has come for them to pay their fair share.

You should try looking at other dictionaries to see the usual meaning of a dog and pony show...
It does have to do with selling- but selling BS, conning or distracting people to hide what you don't want them to look at.

    https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=dog and pony show

    dog and pony show:
An elaborate act of bullshit, generally used to distract attention away from the sheer uselessness of the actual project or act.
    The US Presidential Race.
Any democratic process in the US.

"Look at these corrupt *******s talking about non-issues. Man do the ignorant apathetic masses eat up this dog and pony show."

"Us?" You mean Trump "true believers?" If there's anything most folks have learned about "true believer" Trump types is convincing them of anything is nearly impossible if they think whatever it is might reflect badly on Trump.
Who cares? I see your posts and comment.
