    I am sure the final impeachment reasoning will be legally accurate terminology.

    Perhaps they are simply looking for a term simple enough to he fully understood by Trump supporters. Some legal terms can be quite confusing to those not used to them

    He can testify about when he met the whistle blower, what they talked about, why he lied about meeting the whistle blower, why he held secret meetings, why he denied witnesses to be called, Why he denied questions to be asked, why he chose to tell a witness Trump is tweeting about her, why he engaged in parody, etc.

    So you think if somebody called the police and said neighbor #1 told them neighbor #2 beat up his brother. The cops show up and the brother said it never happened and he hasn't a mark on 'em......who gets arrested? No matter how hard you try, you just can't make something outta nuthin.

    What does any of this have to do with the investigation into trump? If someone tells police they heard about a rape or murder so the police question the people that witnessed it, do you think the defense would ever call the officer that took the original statement during the trial?

    If they handled it improperly there may be an investigation afterwards but the evidence would still stand in the trial.

    You understand how desperate this looks right, its like trump promising to release his tax returns and then fighting it through dozens of courts (that have ruled against him) and pushing it to the SCOTUS (where he has stacked the court).

    It’s poor optics at best but to many it looks like they are hiding something.
