Try reading your own source. I'll help.

In 2009, President Obama’s party controlled both chambers of 27 state legislatures. Eight years later, Democrats control both chambers in only 13 states. Among the states that slipped from Democratic control are Wisconsin, North Carolina, Iowa and West Virginia; states key to the victory of President-elect Donald Trump last November. According to a report from the National Conference of State Legislatures, the Democratic Party has lost a net total of 13 Governorships and 816 state legislative seats since President Obama entered office, the most of any president since Dwight Eisenhower.

I was saying that DEMOCRATS WON THE SINGLE LARGEST POPULAR VOTE MARGIN OF VICTORY FOR THE HOUSE IN A SINGLE MIDTERM IN US HISTORY.

Asking me to prove a negative now? Sucks to be desperate.

Why are you even arguing against facts and against a history we can all look up and see with our own eyes. NOBODY lost more seats in recent history than Obama did. The last time more seats were lost was another Democrat, Eisenhower.

It is a fact and it is irrefutable. Why do you keep doubling down on a position you can't even defend? lol

Republicans won nearly 900 seats at the Federal, State and local levels in 2010 gaining control of the house, majority of governorships and majority of state legislatures.

He's supposed to disprove a debunked GOP talking point? He's supposed to prove a negative?

You should consider having those posts deleted.

Popular vote margin means diddly squat.

The Democrats lost more seats in 2010 than the what the Republicans lost in 2018.

    There's no refuting that fact.

    Stop embarrassing yourself.

Means nothing. Obama still lost more seats. Even with voter fraud helping him, he still lost more. :)

This is why Democrats are trying so hard to change laws and rules. They know they can't win anymore legally so they have to execute power grabs and to cater to the elites and the media.

Popular vote is just mob rule akin to Communism. Maybe you want that, I certainly don't.

You want Trump held to the same standard and granted the same authority as a dictator.

    Too bad.

Oh I never denied that democrats lost more seats in 2010 than republicans in 2018. I denied that they lost 900 seats in 2010 because that did not happen. I also claimed that Republicans suffered the single largest popular vote margin of defeat in a midterm in US history in 2018.

And that Trump lost a governorship race in Kentucky despite demanding that voters support the GOP candidate. And that Trump lost a governorship race in Louisiana despite BEGGING that voters support the GOP candidate.

That's fake news. Obama lost more seats, though. That is a truth you can't wiggle out from under. :)

But yea, change the subject.... lol

WRONG! They lost 910 seats. :)

    https://www.politifact.com/punditfa...emocrats-lost-900-seats-state-legislatures-o/

We can "fact check" you, you get that, right?

    "
Roberts said Obama sought to inspire Democrats across the country in his State of the Union address in part because the party lost "more than 900 state legislators" since he took office.

We ran the numbers, and Roberts’ claim checks out. Using data from the National Conference of State Legislatures, Democrats have lost 910 seats in statehouses across the country since 2009."

    TRUE.

Trump is clearly Electoral POISON who (time and Time Again) has LOST Elections for the GOP (by "campaigning" for them and Snatching Defeat from the Jaws of Victory).

Trump got absolutely EMBARRASSED by the Repudiation that he received in KY and LA. :smh:

So? The democratic party is pro-choice, that includes people who don't personally get abortions. And the second amendment is part of the US constitution and no democrat has pushed to remove it. The idea that you can't have regulations on dangerous, lethal weapons is silly. But supporting such regulations doesn't make you anti-second amendment no matter what you post on the internet. So what's your point here? That he's a quality candidate who supports the ideals of those he serves? And he won? Imagine that!

FFS man, read your own source. The fact check is dated 2015 and says the loses happened SINCE 2009.

So, once again, he did not lose 1000 seats in 2010. Read before you post.

    You are WRONG.

Here is MrT Legal's Statement (Post #89):

I denied that they lost 900 seats in 2010 because that did not happen.

Here is the statement from your link:

Our analysis shows Democrats have lost 910 seats since Obama took office. (You can see the changes in every state here.)

We took a state-by-state look of lost seats from the best source available, the National Conference of State Legislatures. Using the group’s data, we compared the number of Democratic seats in early 2009, when Obama took office, to the number of seats after the 2014 midterms.

    _____________

So, speaking of "Fact Check" your utterly failed attempt at backing up your assertion just got destroyed.:bored:

The Seats were NOT all lost in 2010.

They were lost between 2010 and 2014.

So, that squares with Mr.T Legal's statement:

I denied that they lost 900 seats in 2010 because that did not happen.

Thus, MrT Legal's Statement was CORRECT.

And your own link PROVED YOU WRONG.

Once again, thanks for providing the PROOF that MrT Legal was CORRECT.

    You're Welcome.:salute:

Nope, he deviated from the original argument in which he was wrong. He has been prove wrong endlessly in these discussions. So have you.

So, thanks for proving me correct. :applause:

    You're welcome. :salute:

The Democrat party is not pro-choice. They are pro-death.

Is the Democrat party pro-choice when it comes to school vouchers?

Is the Democrat party pro-choice when it comes to allow armed citizens?
