You really must admire the guy to emulate him as you do. You are an example of why he is an accurate reflection of the average American, regardless of party. The average american is unwilling to have respectful discussion with those with opposing views and is quick to attack and resort to cheap insults. (Just like you did) As long as Americans treat each other like this, we deserve Trump. I do appreciate you admitting that you are part of the reason for his presidency.
These kinds of pronouncements are fine for a political campaign, if they will be politically popular, but have some serious ramifications for the city and its government throughout the jurisdiction. I would definitely not make any more post election without having the city manager/mayor on board before I opened up my mouth after winning. That kind of go-it-alone notion of priority and agenda setting is not going to make many friends with the mayor's office, the police department, the city council, the local parks commission and any economic development or tourism boards.
I am in support of the wall. I grew up in Los Angeles and know what it is like to live among gangs from south of the border. He has not done enough to reduce taxes or government spending. I am a results guy. If higher taxes made for a thriving society, quality roads and schools, I would be a Democrat.
I'm glad you admit to being an average American. The insults you sling as well as the your twisted interpretations and assumptions about what other people say validate your average status quite effectively. For example, nowhere in any of my posts did I claim credit for any part of DD's presidency.
I did not insult you. I correctly pointed out how your demeanor is in line with Trumps. He is not the reason Americans are divided, but a symptom of the division that existed before his election. He simply exploited it. That means that your animosity towards your fellow American with opposing views helps him. I don't expect you to claim credit or even admit to being part of the problem. The righteous mind makes one blind to their own shortcomings. I made no assumptions, you resorted to name calling and cheap insults. That is very Trump-like of you. I am not the average. I do not have a political party and I can respect an opposing view. If you believe we can do better, start with the man in the glass.
Well considering that these promises were made before the election rather publicly, I would say that a lot of the citizens agreed with exactly that plan on election day.
Government spending has not slowed enough I agree with that. I noticed I was bringing home more money January of last year. I am also results oriented.
I did not insult you. I simply pointed out that you are making baseless assumptions about others(me, of late). What you claim to be animosity is simply responding in kind.
Don't get me wrong; Trump is still a better choice than the dems. I just wish he could get more done. I did not say you insulted me and made I no assumptions. I took your own words and simply pointed out your behavior is in line with Trumps. He is also quick to attack, insult, take cheap shots etc. Personally, I do not find his demeanor worthy of emulating. Since there is a topic, I should add that I agree with not prosecuting people for public urination. Its not fair for to tax the hell out of people to the point of not being able to afford housing and then tax them more to house people in prison.
Want to stop the homeless problem in SF, and the poop and pee problem. Solution: find out where Nancy Pelosi house is, offer a couple dozen homeless $25 to move their tent to her sidewalk, and within 3 hours the homeless problem goes away. Same with undocumented aliens, lean a ladder up against her walled in home and tell them they can jump the fence and make themselves at home. Another problem cleaned up instantly. Your welcome California.
I have a client in SF who says people have taken to taking everything out of their cars and leaving the windows open to avoid car break ins, he said if the police see someone breaking in a car the most they can do is write him a ticket. Another client said a burglar was trying to break into his apartment building, the police came after a half an hour and only dropped the perp off five blocks away. Parts of CA are descending into third world status, thanks liberals.
I actually think prostitution should be legalized with medical support and security personnel. They're doing it anyway, least might as well make it a legal, consensual and safe experience for all.
You, and everyone else, could end up in the same situation through no fault of your own. If you are unable and unwilling to show others mercy and help when they are in need, why should anyone show mercy to you when you are in need?
