I don't want to "boss" anyone around. I just want to make sure that people can enter movie theaters and malls and schools without taking the chance of being slaughtered by a shooter. Should we also allow grenades to be legal? Grenades are illegal, and no, people aren't "obtaining them illegally" or "making homemade ones." I'm sure sickos would love to toss a grenade into a public area, too.

But there is one key difference between gasoline and a firearm. Gasoline serves a practical purpose that benefits society in an important way. The benefits of gasoline outweigh the risks, which can't be said for guns.
