If only our American public was well educated about presidents. They would lionize Trump.

Today for example, Chuck Todd made no mention at all of the great conditions now present in this country. All he did was tear down Trump. And when his republican guests protested, he acted like they defended Hitler. Todd always was a huge fan of Obama. Not because Obama was great, Todd is a devoted Democrat. Imagine if you can that I would praise Obama. I never would. So I am biased all over this issue. So is Todd. So is the bulk of the media. Trump deserves credit despite his flaws.
I think your analysis is spotless and well done. Question is, should Trump be more likable or should this public give him his due. He has done so much good.

I do not deny Trump cheated. This is what we get when we have a nation run so much of the time by Democrats. Notice the Teachers of America are far and away loyal Democrats. And notice too that many women teachers seduce their boys in the classroom. Women once were either not doing this or kept it a very good secret. Today it is common for a Democrat woman teacher to get put into jail for child rape.

He is calling the women loose. And worse for Democrats, since he believed he was in a private discussion, we had two men openly bragging. This is called locker room talk and it is common and if you deny that, you must not be noticing.

 

Well, the fact is that Trump will not and cannot be more "likable" because his personality is what it is. He's not going to turn into a typical smooth-talking political hustler overnight, nor a uniter of the country. He was elected to shake things up, and his "hard-core" supporters like his brashness, boldness, fearlessness...and his divisiveness. The divisiveness bit is not a style I would personally prefer from any American president, yet Trump's policies which have been good for the country's economy have earned my vote, despite some of his "verbal spontaneity" making me cringe.

 

Notice though how reserved the women are. They have been told hundreds of times of the locker room talk on the bus. But they know men really among other men love to brag on sexual conquest. But Trump was not self bragging, he commented on the hollywood women.

We see in virtually all non Disney movies, women as actresses undressing and having sex on film. Some appear to actually have sex with the male actor. There are sites on the internet exposing the actual sex on film in mainstream movies. It is not merely that Trump encountered it, we all have encountered these actors. Hollywood is the home of the casting couch so this is not a recent development. I noticed, since I am 81, when this change to culture turned the corner. Hollywood has never really been respected for morals. Actors seldom date few women or men and few stick to one marriage. Some actresses have changed beds probably over a hundred times. Trump gave a frank report.

These women that "love" Trump are from all appearances likely to be fine wives and mothers. They are not tramps.

 

I believe you reflect me and the majority of Trump voters. We want results. We are weary of false promises. Witness this twerp AOC. She can only be forgiven since she is so naive and young.

 

I heard that Trump has a major campaign ad program that he believes will put the brakes on the Democrats. Based on how well he did last time, I think he can master the Democrats.

 

Is there a man alive that has not had women sidle up to them and telegraph that you are the target of that woman and she wants sex? Women actually (not all women of course) make no bones they want to be laid. And you are going to lay them. Primarily but not exclusively Democrat women. There is something about being a democrat screaming out to men, I want to have sex with you. And they get it.

 

I've seen bankruptcy work very well for a couple of fellow employees, little guys, and I've seen bankruptcy work very well for a corporation, and keep my stock in it worth something.

I guess there must be a reason for the bankruptcy laws as the old folks told me tales of business people being kidnapped and taken to Hannibal, tarred, feathered, and put on a Rock Island Line gondola car.

 

He certainly has the incumbent's advantage of not having to duke it out in a primary again. He can focus entirely on his own campaign strategy of how to beat whichever nominee wins while they try to knock each other off the stage without eating their own. He also has built an enviable fundraising chest.

I'm not sure that advertising will be the key factor for 2020. What I think Democrats need to worry more about is the rift between the moderate Democrats and the invasion of their party by the Democratic Socialists. The question is "How many moderates will sit out the election because they won't vote for a Socialist (and vice versa)?" I suppose the most apparent answer is "It depends on how much they, as two splintered groups, can be convinced to hate Trump and his nationalist policies."

 

What matter does it make what a person did before being president?

No one from the Baby Boomer age is surprised by anything Trump said which made him sound like a womanizer. In the 70's, Trump became one of the first people in America to be "famous for being famous"...and he did so by creating social "scandals" which were worthy of having his face splashed on the cover of supermarket tabloids and Playboy Magazine covers...usually with a beautiful woman on his arm. He bragged and built an open and public reputation of being a social player and "lady's man".

Fast forward a bit to the Clinton presidency. He tried to publicly portray himself as a shining symbol of virtue and morality, a "nice, respectable guy and family man". Then here come whistleblowers Juanita Broderick, Paula Jones, and Kathleen Wiley to say that Bill Clinton is not Mr. Squeaky Clean. The next blow was the public knowledge of Clinton using a young intern as a walking humidor in the Oval Office. Yet, Clinton continued his pretense of morality until the "blue dress" made it impossible to pull off the charade. As I recall, Democrats said that the good job he was doing for the country was far more important that choices he made in his private life, and that we as a country should only judge Clinton on his work....because humans are inherently weak and flawed. No one can survive microscopic personal scrutiny, they said.

In my experience, women tend to be more upset by a covert womanizer who lies about his escapades than and overt womanizer who takes his arm-candy out in public to wine and dine them. People don't like to be lied to by a phony.

Whether or not the public is "surprised" by someone's actions seems to make more of a difference on public opinion than other factors, including judgments of whether the person is behaving appropriately or not.

That may be locker room talk among 18 year olds. Most men do grow up. And no what he is saying is he can do what he wants and the women cannot effectively fight back because he has the money and power.

And Trump’s cheating on all his wives is somehow the Democrats fault? I suppose Trump University or Stormy were also the Democrats fault. Heck let’s just blame all of Trump’s moral and financial corruption on the Democrats.

 

While you do not approve of his private one on one conversation with a man who also knows the entertainment industry, it is not your business what was said on the bus. And I am correct that Trump was telling Bush that women of hollywood are pretty morally loose. And though there are exceptions, far more are fitting that mold.

Democrats never would take the blame for Trump cheating even though as he cheated, he was a rather good Democrat. If they refuse, why blame republicans for events so far back in history?

I have explained Trump U so many times I am sick of repeating my own arguments. But there was management on the job there. Do Democrats ever blame the managers of the so called university?

Trump must be evaluated by his job as president. Stormy extorted Trump and plays no active role in government. She sells her body for cash.

She is no victim. I would expect that in the past of Obama, he paid for some of his nookie. I am aware he did drugs. I would imagine his share of women in his bed is fairly substantial. I think it is marvelous he has remained married to a woman. But many men that are divorced were filed against by the woman. Ben Affleck is an example where his wife filed on him I'm fairly comfortable saying.

 

Wonderful explanation which is absolutely true. They simply hate Trump for being a republican. Were he still a Democrat and president, none of his past would bother them. This they proved when accepting both Clinton plus the drug use by Obama. And they accepted his acceptance of a church that preached the *******ned America" theology to the audience.

 

You are more than a Lone Star Gal, you are a shining star. Such intelligence in speaking of Trump is rather rare. Much of the talk is that one hates his guts. They hate him for everything. They wanted to impeach him for simply attaining the office of President. They put on dog and pony shows pretending they are somehow a legal argument. And of course in the Senate we will see the unraveling of those alleged legal arguments.
