I never said I am rich but I could certainly afford a tax increase close to double digits and not really be impacted greatly. I own two businesses, not taking every single deduction and legal financial loophole would put me at a competitive disadvantage to my competitors . People that are saying “increase taxes but I am not going to solely volunteer” mainly base their statement around the above. It’s like a political candidate wanting to remove large donations or super-pacs from campaigns, it is difficult to get elected without these two so they must play within the current system. Usually they are forced to do what their opponents are doing because it is the easiest way to win — even if they disagree with the system. You have to first win by the current rules to fix issues that cause injustices.
Better in that it prevents me from freely accessing land provided by nature? I don't see any difference.
No, better in that it does not make such prevention an occasion for infliction of massive, systematic, institutionalized injustice. Maybe if you could find a willingness to know self-evident and indisputable facts of objective physical reality instead of choosing to put on your disgraceful and despicable feigned ignorance act...?
There are times when a corporation will pay top dollar for an accomplished CEO to get them through a time of losses, it is just as important to have highly capable and accomplished people during that time as well as in the good times. I would rather see the corporation, the board, decide what level of talent they need, who fits their long term goals and has the best record of accomplishment and decide what they will pay for such talent.
I followed it clear, like Costco wanting to weaponize the government to knock out competitors with the minimum wage, We see perfectly well what's going on.
Ok let's break it down, again the IRS takes donations.. How so, if one runs two successful companies, one shouldn't need to take advantage of any loop holes Why wouldn't one volunteer?
What do you not understand about “competitive disadvantage to my competitors”? Is it a reading comprehension issue or just agenda driven willful ignorance?
You answered your own question It would be a competitive disadvantage to pay your fair share. but if ones petitions the government to raise taxes one can absorb it the other can not .. Hence weaponizing the government to destroy competitors like what Costco is trying to do.
How would an equal rise in a progressive taxation destroy competition? A person that makes 10M would be taxed the same amount as another person making 10M, a person making 100K would be taxed much lower.
I am not talking personal, talking business. I keep using Costco as an example because they keep wanting the government to raise the minimum wage , they are trying to weaponize the government against there competition and put them out of business.
My example would apply to businesses as well although I believe personal taxes are more efficient. When has Costco lobbied the government to raise minimum wage?

Costco’s CEO supports raising the minimum wage — how in the hell did you turn that into Costco is “trying to weaponize the government against there [sic] competition and put them out of business”. Costco already has a minimum wage in place of $14.00 per hour.
<sigh> Do you also think exhorting a proponent of organ donation to donate his own organs would be responsive to a call for a better organ donation system??
Dont know about you, but would give my left nut for someone, even a stranger. A huge difference between charity and taxes , they are not the same. One is giving from the heart , the other is taking other people's money
