Interesting numbers that do not withstand scrutiny. You need to do the break down of seats that changed, the margins were slim. Next you need to actually look at where that data was pulled from, there is a lot of missing data, there are states like California that have jungle primaries where all votes cast were cast for Democrats, because there were no Republicans, that sort of thing is disingenuous and skews the data. It may fool the unwary, so I'll attempt to educate you on it, if you still want to buy into that nonsense, that's on you...

538? Why would anyone trust them? Polls from liberal sources like Quinnipiac say otherwise...

Mr. Chabot is launching into the "Let's talk about anything not called Impeachment" talking point.

Surely you understand that your lefty buddies are the only ones that actually got to present a case, the Republicans are up next so let's see where this thing ends up. Your own hand picked poll shows you didn't gain one ounce of support for impeachment after rigging the prosecution to guarantee success. We now will get the defendants side and my guess is you lose even more support but I'm willing to wait.

538 incorporates Quinnipiac in that Poll Tracker.

Go look at their nonsense, every poll has significant liberal over-sampling, this is 2016 all over again. It will end badly for you, sadly it just won't be as funny as watching you folks cry when Hillary lost, but still funny. Keep believing in those that failed you last time, sooner or later they might get it right, probably around 2030...

A plurality? Diagram that for us, please. I'm not seeing an honest construct that would accommodate three or more distinct voting options.

This is a simple yes or no vote.

So, if I understand your argument. It is improper to claim that Democrats in the House were placed into the majority by a significant majority of the country because the seats that flipped were done so by smaller margins and because there are some seats where Democrats ran unopposed by a Republican?

    Did I get that correct?

Would you mind explaining why those factors did not exist in 2016, 2014, 2012, 2010, etc. etc.

Thanks...I wasn't doubting the claim, just saying I hadn't heard about it.

Every time you suggest that a poll oversamples Democrats, I am going to point you to the 2018 midterms where Democrats won the House by a 8.7% margin and the Senate by an even larger margin.

So if the poll does not include at least 8% more Democrats, then you can very easily make the argument that poll undersamples Democrats.

The 2016 result was within 1.1% of the final RCP average of the polls.

I don't think he's being charged with that. However, if he's having a problem with that he might want to start "walking the golf course," or at least parking his cart off the greens. Fewer meetings with Putin and Kim might also help.

Its not nearly as significant as you claim. That is a simple truth. Otherwise provide the data and we can go through it line by line, you'll see, its mostly white noise making claims that numbers don't represent. Where were the most votes cast? Look at California, you'll find more votes cast for Democrats, how much of the data you present is simply overflow from CA? Don't worry about it though, you keep believing in your Blue Ripple and how popular you think you folks are. It will cost you the House, because the seats needed to flip it back were much closer races. You might still get a 'plurality' and still lose the House...

Why don't the Republicans call AG Barr to testify on his investigation into the Biden's? They could also ask him about why he disagrees with the Horowitz Report.
