Things really seem to be turning against it in a hundred different, minor ways, even The Economist is saying that it's had its' day, do you think it's really over? Can the handsome surgeon/airline pilot in the romance novel once more flirt with the winsome nurse/stewardess without being accused of sexual harassment? Can we watch 7 Brides for 7 Brothers with a clear conscience? Are cowboys heroes once more rather than the persecutors of indigenous peoples? Can they go back to making Lynx/Axe ads which are actually funny?
You can get more money now, but if it's the insurance company that pays, you still might not be happy at all.
I think it's not, there will be the likes of Epstein and Weinstein out there a lot of them and they should know that they will be prosecuted if they commit similar crimes against women. There should be a force behind exploited and abused women.
The Casting Couch is as old as, casting. So what's new? I remember stories of Brooke Shield's mother running "defense" for her child model daughter. Moi Across an immense, unguarded, ethereal border, Canadians, cool and unsympathetic, regard our America with envious eyes and slowly and surely draw their plans against us.
That is what they said in 1999. It will get much much worse. Presumption of Guilt will destroy millions of men's careers and put hundreds of thousands into prisons.
Define exploited and abused? 17 year olds being flown all over in the world in private jets to party with the rich and famous in exclusive nightclubs does not really strike me as 'trafficking'? Aspiring actresses who made nice with the producer to help their careers and are now crying foul because they're in the doldrums do not strike me as 'exploited'? It takes 2 to fill the casting couch (and occasionally more?).
Then perhaps certain individuals should stop seeking to lower the age of voting. One cannot be considered old enough to vote in elections, while still being considered too young to engage in sexual activity.
I, personally, am not a fan of the term 'movement'. It makes something sound as though it is a limited time event. I don't see #metoo as limited in its importance. What I think we will now see are proper channels for reporting and proper investigation occurring.
And we wonder why there are so many incels among conservatives. Criminal rape is criminal rape and should be reported and prosecuted as such, The "movement" is declining because people are beginning to see it as the way things have always been and should be once again
It is a mess, in Britain you can have sex, get married and have children at 16 but not vote, buy a beer or purchase porn until you're 18. Two 17 year olds can have sex with one another all they want but can't send naked pics to one another because that's illegal under 18.
Errrr, what exactly do "incels" have to do with people's political beliefs? People are incels because they're mentally ill, suffer from conditions such as autism which affect their social interactions or are the victims of an abusive upbringing which gives them warped gender values, not because they vote one way or the other.
Some males are involuntarily celibate because women find them repulsive, and many women find men who believe they are "entitled" to have sex with them, and thus justified in raping them if they don't get any, particularly so. At least so logic and several women I know have told me. I do realize that is not all incels and it is an egregious error to act as if all those with this curious affliction are moral reprobates. I apologize if I have done so and was only noting that many of the more well-known incel based murderers were conservative and seemed to find their beliefs rooted in conservative rather than liberal attitudes to women.

The Me Too movement is over if Creepy Joe is the nominee and gets a pass. Then again, after Me Too allowed themselves to be weaponized in the failed attempt to stop Kavanaugh, I don't know if they matter any more anyway...
Bit by bit my prediction seems to be coming true, Woody Allen's autobiography is a huge hit and the BBC are playing Michael Jackson again. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the Joe Biden allegations.
The #metoo movement is part of a dying unjust woke culture... in its wake will be reborn true equality & justice... this time for all (not just for women, or gays or transgenders) but men and children too. Race and sexual preference must become irrelevant for justice to rise above it, woke culture have done nothing but make society MORE racist and MORE unequal.
Good questions. Recently a former employee of Joe Biden's accused him of sexual harassment, and the collective LEFTIST mainstream media's response has been, "That never happened!" and "What person in their right mind is going to believe a woman about that anyway?" It's amazing that the sheer scope of their pandemic hypocrisy hasn't caused their keyboards and camera lenses to melt.
Thank you! America's Founding Fathers understood that All Humans are Created Equal. Sadly they practiced enormous Inequality and Slavery. Hopefully, Humankind will evolve toward Equality for All Humans -- All Sexes, All Races, All Ethnic Origins, All Ability/Disability.
