I wasn't, I think neither he nor Bill Cosby would ever have been convicted without the prevailing atmosphere but the justice system should not be influence by what is trendy.
The woke culture will fade out, metoo it's another question. I suppose however that the woke culture would stay powerfull for at least ten years. However, major events, especially major disasters could quickly make that kind of ideology disappear. Anyway, they will one day have to face the question of people wrongly accused.
people seem to forget that the whole "woke" thing and this ridiculous "me too" movement do not exist in a vacuum. they are merely another manifestation of the cult of victim-hood and this is something that isn't going away any time soon. as long as people are able to profit by crying "victim" and there are political animals willing to capitalize on that ability, we will be forced to endure life's failures and malcontent crying foul at every real or perceived slight. what is saddest in all this, aside from the innocent who are damaged by false allegations, is that there are real victims whose pain is lost in the tumult of a multitude of frauds.
If Christine Blasey Ford had been prosecuted for lying under oath, and thrown in jail for about 10 years, I think it would have put a big damper on the #metoo movement. Instead, we'll likely see it continue for some time to come, because there's money to be made for doing so, and little risk on the down side.
Sadly, Western Society is moving away from Presumption of Innocence. Now it is worse then in 2003, when Kobe Bryant was accused. In 2003 it was worse then in 1991, when William Kennedy Smith was accused.
It's Biden being accused now, of course it is going to be over. Just like sexual harassment and bosses preying on subordinate women went away when Clinton was president.
the heroes of the progressive movement will be excused, but the carnage will go on. the cult of victim-hood is far too useful a tool to be discarded by those who hold out the violent force of government as the answer to all problems. after all, there is always another oppressor to blame when government fails to solve any problems at all. in the meantime, government can remain the oppressor under the guise of providing the cure.
Why because you say so... The world today for some, is unjust & cruel while the left watch on silently. In South Africa, a woman is raped every 4 minutes, tens of thousands of children have and still are being raped yet when people speak out.... they are called racist. Changing ^^^^ attitude that some can do no wrong, and that pointing out their wrongdoing makes one racist, will make a big difference in our world. It must be fixed
It is not just America who practices slavery, Africans sold their neighbouring tribes into slavery for thousands of years...and mostly to Arabs. A fraction of the slaves went to America and the timeframe pales by comparison slavery have been ongoing in the Middle East The attempt to associate America with slavery is yet another one of the Globalists tools to cripple America
True -- Slavery was a Global phenomenon. Also, in Russia and East Europe there was Serfdom. About 70,000 Jews in Russia were also enserfed as conscripts in 1828 -- 1858.
Because the world is not interested in true equality and justice. It is interested only in victimhood, and having an acceptable target to blame for all the ills and suffering of whoever can scream the loudest.
The world is divided, so when you say the world is not interested... it is not the whole world who are not interested... only the Liberals leftists & Communists... because it hides Communist atrocities
