    LoL no one does care.

Literally nobody outside of DC is talking about impeachment. During the Clinton impeachment you heard it everywhere....work...radio....it was 24/7.

    This?

    Nothing.

    That depends.

The courts, for example, could not rule in certain cases of national security.

Probably just crying himself to sleep.

First he lost his friend Ed Buck, and now he's getting mauled in the Senate.

Or in your famous words, which I haven't forgotten, he's probably in the basement stamping his pajama clad foot on the floor.

It's definitely a snooze fest. That 2:00 wall has hit and I'm getting tired, and crazy-eyed Schiff's blabbering isn't helping. Time to go walk around and see if I can find some coworkers to pester for 30 minutes.

Well, it's been 30 minutes, almost saw two employees fight because one accused the other of taking his noodles. At least that was eventful.

It's a great way to make Democrats look stupid.

They have told the American people THEIR case is indisputable, overwhelming, totally convincing and is enough to remove on conviction. Then bring it on. Stop the side shows about more investigation.

Which witness in the Clinton impeachment trial in the Senate had not been interviewed either in the investigation that testimony was presented to the House and part of the impeachment or by the House itself?

So you admit to executive privilege..

Give me some names of people whose testimony came under executive privilege before Congress and were forced to testify and why?

What do you mean "because it is". They did not prepare a case of impeachable offenses that is the "is". The out was when the House was decide if the President should be impeached and why the President should be impeached. It's not for the Senate to complete their investigation and put bandaids on it. Why did the House block the evidence in their impeachment, they had ample opportunity to issue subpoenas for it and use it in their case.

They said they don't need it, the case they built is indisputable, conclusive, beyond any doubt............so get on with it.

The senate should do its due diligence. He’s been impeached and deserve a right to clear his good name. Which I’m sure more witnesses and documents will do. Then dems will look awful stupid!

Can the Senators consider evidence like the GAO report?

Trump cared so much that he broke his own single day twitter record - and almost all were exclusively about his impeachment.

Three witnesses testified before the Senate who did not testify before the House. Even if the House was able to review previous statements those witnesses had made, their testimony before the Senate still constituted NEW testimony.

I never denied executive privilege. I denied absolute immunity. That you still think those are synonymous says more about you than me.

As for a small sampling of witnesses that testified despite containing testimony which could be subject to executive privilege : John Dean (former White House counsel), Frederick LaRue (a former White House and Nixon re-election campaign aide), Herbert W. Kalmbach (Nixon's former personal lawyer), Alexander Butterfield (former Nixon deputy assistant), and Assistant U.S. Attorney General Henry E. Petersen.[116]

We all know about Pat Ciplonne lying in front of the Senate when he said that "GOP colleagues were not allowed in the SCIF" and "Donald Trump is a man of his word," but something that happened during the first day which I did not catch at the time is Jay Sekulow making a fool of himself. Apparently he got onto a rant about "lawyer lawsuits" (note: that is not a thing) after listening to Dennings because he apparently misheard her saying "FOIA lawsuits."

And then, because that is the type of idiocy that Trump has instilled in every person who has to defend him, the Trump legal team doubled down and claimed that there are "transcripts" of her Dennings saying "lawyer lawsuits," but they can't produce them because of course not.
