Gravity is a "theory" but we sure seem stuck to the earth don't we? We sure seem able to predict it and use it to maneuvered our spacecraft.

I am drinking coffee made in my Kuerig, typying on my tablet, excuse the mistakes, with music on my 7.1 system and light coming from above, not from a god, all because of the Theory of Electricity.

If it's just a "theory" are we not supposed to teach it.

Which one is on the Great Seal? And it was added to the pledge not written into it by the author. It should be removed as it excludes lots of citizens and flies in the face of our founding and on the Great Seal "from many one".

The question asked was "which God". Which God (if any) is the creator mentioned in the nations founding document -and what is the purpose of mentioning this creator ?

So you figure that the founding principles have zero legal weight - while you have not substantiated this claim - let us assume it is true for arguments sake. This is a sad thing don't you think ?

When you think that those who dislike their theistic neighbors and or deny God exists have enough votes in both houses and a President who will sign it then you can take in God we trust and under God away from us. Rest assured that until the day that side has a majority to impose that upon us, we will fight you all rhetorically, editorially, politically, by our voting with every fiber of our being to preserve that part of our national heritage.

Read our national founding document. It makes clear the intent of the signers and writer of the Declaration of Independence in mentioning the creator.

What any founder thought or wrote about is completely irrelevant. The US is a nation of laws, based on the US constitution.

Why did you think "those", whoever that is supposed to be, dislike their neighbors? Why do you hold this bigoted view that all atheist hate people who have a religious faith? I like all my neighbors and don't even ask about their religious faith as it's none of my business. Congresses do or they to do things that are unconstitutional all the time just because they do it does not make it constitutional. And your are an example of just why the founding fathers put in the 1st Amendment, so that a majority religious establishment could not force it's will or matters of faith on the minority. Thank you for showing that. If you want go to your church or hold a prayer meeting in your home or rent someplace to do it to look up and declare in God you trust go ahead buy you don't speak for the rest of the citizens.

Is that my creator or yours? It doesn't say "the creator", it is whatever you believe to be YOUR creator.

Would you be okay with a law that stipulates that all students should engage in some form of prayer/meditation before they begin classes?

Evolution is not on par with gravity, nor is the psychological evaluation of homosexuality or transgenderism

While it is statistically true that most Americans regard themselves as some form of "Christian," our founding fathers were highly sensitive to the death & destruction caused by religious conflicts in Europe during the two centuries preceding themselves, & wrote the First Amendment into the Constitution as a means of avoiding such horror in the new U.S.. While the founding fathers were themselves "Christian," they wrote the Amendment in such a way as to keep religious freedom open to any & all religious belief--including atheism. The First Amendment protects ALL RELIGIOUS BELIEFS--not just Christianity. Anyone who regards America as a "Christian" nation is acting in direct opposition to the intent of the First Amendment. I know of no state where any student who wants to read a religious text, or wants to pray privately, would be in trouble. Can you cite one? I suspect that's just some religious fanatic's made up propaganda.

Nature and evolution favors heterosexuality, homosexual sex does not advance a species.

Our rights come from God....period. If suddenly a space alien arrived with undeniable evidence that there is no God and we are a freak of nature with our rights extended to us by the government, I'd say "Eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we die!"

He's been in politics 3.5 years. How do you become establishment when people like Biden, Pelosi, Algore, are lifetime professional politicians?

Of....so you think King James would have "allowed" us to have our Constitution? I'm just thankful my ancestors declared our rights come from God and not King James or any government you might impose.

it’s not possible to despise something that doesn’t exist. And I’m a white man. Why do you think making **** up helps you?

No. I fight for and protect my rights. I don’t need an imaginary sky fairy for a friend to make me feel better.

In order to make this assertion, you need to first prove that a god exists. You can not do that so your assertion is invalid on its face.

You think denigrating white men makes you superior white man....sort of a god unto yourself.
    You also said this :
"No. I fight for and protect my rights. I don’t need an imaginary sky fairy for a friend to make me feel better."
Ha ha! How macho.... wait til Bernie Sanders ascribes you your rights!

What about people born in this country who don't believe in a magic man in the sky?

Yeah, that didn't happen. Who could possibly care about evolution? This has absolutely no bearing on morality in any way shape or form.
