    Trump's remarks from WH today:

Here is the 181 page plan: https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Peace-to-Prosperity-0120.pdf

    https://time.com/5773138/trump-israel-palestine-peace-plan/

If peace breaks out over this deal, Trump will be President for Life. HAHA!

That said, I am not very optimistic.

Kushner says Palestinians will 'screw up' if they reject peace deal

Unfortunately, they will likely blow this one too.

    Turkey is already against it.

Im still skeptical, but hope it works.

The Pali's vote in terrorist leadership so I doubt they will play nice.

I vaguely recall these terms, but no memory of the details.

Lots of things to be skeptical about, some of the infrastructure projects like the tunnels and bridges are questionable; the Gaza-Westbank tunnel would be over 25 miles long from the map. Some of the land allocation, like the one for agriculture are not exactly in an agriculture area. The port access is also not described very well so I wont make to many assumptions but the Palestinians would have no land access to them from the map.
**Looks like its just another proposal to have one like a lot of the ones in the past have been.

The ONLY peace plan the Palestinian's will accept is for Israel to cease to exist.

It is meant to be a starting point for negotiations, but I am skeptical the Pals will join in.

Your fawning aside, this is a nowhere deal. How do you come up with an agreement when only one side participates in the negotiations? All of theses deals fail because they require Israel to always have control over Palestinians.

It was kind of funny, watching Trump and Netanyahu on stage together. Two criminals, and they are the darlings of the right.

I was joking because the left always accuses Trump of trying to make himself POTUS 4 life.

The deal gives Pal a pathway to statehood, so there would be no Israeli control.

Also, a timely diversion and distraction from Netan-Yahoos three corruption indictments which came down yesterday.

    This is absolutely false.

The government of West Bank, which has been continuous since before 2000, has stated that the objective is to live in peace beside Israel, achieved through peaceful means. They have followed through on that with dedication toward ending terrorist acts (in concert with Israels IDF) and through working toward UN and World Court membership as well as being fully open to negotiations made in good faith.

Abbas even managed to form a unity government with Gaza, wherein members were dedicated to those same ends and where Hamas was given no seats - a testament to the weakness of the government of Gaza and the respect of the people for the progress made by Abbas as well as recognition that nonpeaceful means can not succeed.

    This is absolutelyl false.

It does NOT promise statehod in any way. In fact, the agreement states that ISRAEL (and the US) would have to decide that statehood was warranted at some time in the future - no date or concrete accomplishments mentioned!!!

And, Netanyahu has promised that he is dedicated to preventing Palestinian statehood throughout his life.

How the Trump Administration's Israel-Palestine Peace Plan Will Change the Middle East

It won't change a thing because it won't happen. Hamas has no interest in a peace plan, only in the destruction of Israel. Nice try, though.

There is NOTHING in this deal that promises statehood to Palestine.

It is a monumental land grab, driving Palestine off the Jordan river (on the OPPOSITE side of Israel from Palestine) and leaving Palestine to be nothing but a seriies of islands connected by bridges and tunnels while Israel aquires the vast majority of the land.

This "deal" is a monumental crime - nothing more.

This lie is without ANY supporting evidence.

It is contrary to the last 20 years of West Bank governance and the statements of the Israeli Defense Force.

It's even contrary to the Hamas government of Gaza, which has long stated the permenance of Israel and even ceded to the West Bank government inspired Unity government.

    Absolutelyl FALSE.

    https://www.haaretz.com/.premium-unity-gov-t-to-recognize-israel-1.5246255

The government of West Bank has acceptance of Israel's permanence since before 2000.

Abbas has consistently worked toward preventing terrorism, including cooperation with Israel's IDF.

His direction is one of limiting to peaceful means alone.

Given Israel's continuing ethnic cleansign of West Bank, his leadership has been truely remarkable in terms of maintaining peace and successful government while attempting to end the devestatig attack from Israel.

You mean the "peace plan" that didn't include Palestinians in any discussions ?

Jareds plan is an economic one. Im sure that he or his family wont benefit from (wink wink). The Palestinians refused to take part because they want a political solution that affords them some of the things they wanted, like land, and Isreal wants sovereignty, neither of these are even mentioned in the plan.

Leave it to the rich kid to think that these thousands of years of war and fighting was just because they didn't have enough jobs. Jobs that I am sure he and his family will gladly provide while they get paid by the states to build things (taking their cut off the top)
