Are these the same type of polls that have Biden in first place? https://www.realclearpolitics.com/elections/2020/
Huh? Did you see what the coronavirus scare did to the Market last week? The DOW was 1000 points lower on the close of Friday compared to what it is today. The Markets mainly work on speculation then when earnings and job reports outperform those estimates/speculations like they have nearly every monthTrump has been in office the Markets show their appreciation.
RCP is an aggregate collection so it depends on the poll: https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/democratic_nomination_polls/
I'm pretty sure they don't. Unless you consider giving tax breaks to the people who actually adopt "taxpayer funded". Plus, I'm pretty sure everyone's tax dollars go to things they personally can't use, yeah? Where do you think welfare money comes from. Certainly not from the people using it.
No, they are directly taxpayer funded. Not the family that adopts the child. I am not aware of any one targeted group that is directly singled out and excluded from any taxpayer funded organizations — even in part — besides gay people. Do you know any? Everyone can get on welfare if they need it.
Publicly funded adoption agencies and some states are trying to bar them from marriage licenses and federal spousal benefits — again.
I'm going to have to see evidence that adoption agencies are directly taxpayer funded. Are you saying all gay people are excluded from all taxpayer funded organizations? Yes, I can name one. The targeted group of people who work for a living.
Here ya go: https://family.findlaw.com/foster-care/foster-care-funding-and-federal-programs.html And no, gay people are not excluded from all taxpayer funded organizations. But they are barred from some, and Republicans are always trying to increase the number of places that can discriminate against them.
Everyone is barred from some taxpayer funded organizations. Also, your source does not indicate that adoption providers are federally funded. The funds that ARE provided are to care for the CHILDREN, regardless of who adopts them. Are you saying you don't want your money to be spent taking care of children because you can't have one of them, according to you?
Because of irrelevant inane personal characteristics? Like what? They receive grants as well as control who is eligible to receive those grants. And if gay people are not allowed to adopt as there are no options to do so they are denied those programs. No, I am saying the current system is unjust. Just like denying gay kids or families education, healthcare or housing. In before “they should go where they are wanted” or “they should move”.
Well. According to you, sexuality. The children receive money to keep them alive. Are you saying you'd like your money not to be used for that purpose because you claim you don't benefit from a shopping spree at the local orphanage? They are allowed to adopt, in all 50 states, according to SCOTUS. In before “they should go where they are wanted” or “they should move”.[/QUOTE] You haven't said how it's unjust. You've made a lot of claims that are false though. I like how you tried to insinuate I'm somehow discriminating against you as well though. Nice touch.
Adoption agencies in some areas of the country are wholly dominated by several adoption agencies, others do not exist for hundreds of miles. Simce these agencies are legally allowed to turn away gay parents it becomes inaccessible. Education is the same — the choice between a school with poor performance and one that has high marks but will discriminate against the students is not a choice.
That is the difference between a poll and an election. I love that the right is now attacking Fox News though, guess you should shoot the messenger...
Oh now it's an adoption wasteland....gay people are forced to drive the long way to the adoption center and straight people have a reserved lane to get there. Do you realize how ridiculous this sounds? No agencies are legally allowed to turn away gay parents. What part of "same sex adoption is legal in all 50 states" is hard for you to understand? It must be exhausting trying to be a victim 24 hours a day.
Likely voters aren't the end all-be all. That would be the electoral. And them there polls were way off.
I have already shown how gay people are excluded. I never said you were discriminating against anyone. Try again. Please stop with the lie that I don’t want adoptive parents to receive grants to help care for unwanted children, the process should just be equal. It’s pathetic honestly.
No you actually have not. Perhaps in your amygdala you've convinced yourself. Here in the real world, same sex adoption is legal in all 50 states. That's the only dishonesty in this discussion because you fail to admit the facts.
