    Is that right? I just took a cursory look at that page, but I think the correct mortality rate would be: 2711(deaths) / (2711 (deaths) + 27913 (recovered)) = .0885
    I might be wrong though...

    What is much more important in relation to the propensity to spread is the morbidity rate and the number of carriers who have no symptoms, which is totally unknown. At least that's what the woman physician guest consultant on GMA said this morning.

    Maybe to you. I'm much more concerned about the probability that I die than the probability that I get sick. That said, I think as the morbidity rate becomes more known the mortality rate will decrease. However, if a pandemic breaks out the real problem might be getting food and/or services.

    Well, you're not that far off. Dems are hoping the virus will have a devastating effect on the US economy and will thus cancel out one of the chief reasons to vote for President Trump.

    The virus not going away wouldn't make him a liar, it would make him wrong.

    Trump saying that it is under control, that we are close to a vaccine, and that all of the Americans are getting better is a lie.

    We who want to know the truth already do as there are numerous reports for us willing to do the legwork to find out. Those depending solely on the president word in the deluge of reports available are exactly the type who would panic easily
