    Joe Biden brought up something that's very important for our larger cities with thousands of displaced people living on the streets and that's gentrification. He was shut down and silenced by the other wolves on stage. I've been aware for years, ever since my son lost his apartment in the Bronx because of gentrification. Entire neighborhoods in Harlem and the Bronx were effectively 'cleansed' of minorities and replaced with young Wall St types that wanted a high end apartment in close proximity to Manhattan. Here's how it was done. An apartment building is sold, the new owners raise the rents and people get chased out because they can't afford the rent. The new owners throw in a new kitchen, bathroom and paint and charge double the rent.

    Keep in mind that the rental price, even in a small Bronx apartment is not cheap by any means. We're talking $2,000 a month and up for a one-bedroom apartment in a building with no elevator and 10 floors to walk up. But people were able to work two jobs and barely scrape by and make their rent. Once those apartments are gentrified, they get sold as condos or the rents are raised absolutely out of their price range. This has happened in NY, in San Francisco, in Los Angeles and in Seattle. It's a systemic problem that's created entirely by greed. Wealthier white collar workers bring more money into a neighborhood and gentrification eliminates a lot of the crime because those neighborhoods get more protection.

    Sanders complaining that we have more people incarcerated that other countries. Well DUH Bernie we do a good job of catching and prosecuting criminals in this country and makes us much safer. We should let more get away with it or something?

    Or maybe we need Trump to start pardoning all those guys that got prison time for minor offenses instead of pardoning his friends that committed white collar crimes that harmed hundreds of thousands of people like Michael Milken.

    That is not what scotus said about carriage taxes. The issue was apportionment. Read the article. Good case. Doesn’t matter unless scotus agree though.

    That's what I was thinking. Everyone on that stage knows that Biden has mentally lost it. They want his supporters when he finally bails out of the campaign, and so they are going easy on him.
