Trump and friends don't care if we live or die

People are not flying or sailing or transporting gnoods from one country to another. Business in most of the modern world is slowed dramatically, the stock market is responding accordingly. The vast majority of our companies are only marginally profitable at best prior to the virus so any kind of slow down will hurt.

 

Stopping people from traveling to the US is racist.

Whoever told you your opinion was evidence or proof was blowing smoke up your skirt. Any sane, rational person can see that at the current time, this president is setting new records in accomplishments, in everything except making you happy. Funny, this "vast network" is not something we hear about. He didn't invent the CDC or WHO, and the ebola virus is mostly history. On the other hand the Corona virus is right now, and Trump is moving quickly to both control the spread and fast-track efforts to beat it.

It's on the news, unless of course you only watch hater news. They never report good thing, so you wouldn't have a clue.

 

You should stop your whining and start reading. Look at the number of cases in America, look at other high travel countries. The US is doing an extraordinary job of containment. You should also look into the program you are whining about. It keeps our people HERE, where they belong. It doesn't end their jobs or their research, they are simply on hand in this country, not being the world's doctors and babysitters. I'm coming to believe you folks want a full blown epidemic here, just so you have something to use against Trump and push for some nonsense like national health care...

The CDC has all the funding it needs to do it's job. Throwing money at the CDC does not cure anything, since they have all the funding the need. Throwing more money at them only results in waste and abuse.

The CDC could start by spending their funding wisely.

This is a new, previously unknown virus. It is not a new form of influenza. There is no virus, none whatsoever. Because of China's secrecy, the smart people are just now learning how this virus operates in our bodies. Smart people are stocking up on masks and latex gloves before they run out, and plenty of antibacterial gels and sprays.

Read the links I provided in the OP. We wouldn't need a coordinated network of public health organizations if Trump had not dismantled and defunded what was created under Obama. He has loaded key positions with ass-kissers who are every bit as incompetent as he is. Very few people remain who know what the eff they're doing. Those who have been forced out or left are taking extreme precautions for their own families. I'm doing the same.

Trump cares about the markets, not our lives. He cares about economic issues in an election year, since he has ZERO to brag about otherwise.
