    Poor Joe fighting for a sit down format for the debate with Bernie. If I were Bernie I would not go for it. Joe must be getting worse. I wonder if he can withstand the general election pace?

    It's just because he gets tired quicker than 30 years ago. Who doesn't? Compare Trump now to Trump 30 years ago ... but none of you are saying anything about that. Sounds hypocritical to me.

    His wife should have never allowed this to happen. I used to have respect for her, but that is gone. You do not allow your loved ones to be front and center when they have dementia. She is supposed to protect him.

    Trump's simple linguistic style worked in his favor in 2016. It still does. He doesn't talk like a politician, and people were sick of smooth, polished politico types.

    Of course, Joe no longer sounds like a politician today...but for different reasons (like dementia). :xd:

    Its not just "getting tired". He's not stuttering. And Trump has been battle tested for the last 4 years while Biden has been if anything shielded by the media.


    The fact that he becomes aggressive when asked about his son is a prime example.

    I don't think Biden will be able to withstand the general election - I think he is clearly showing signs of a certain degree of mental degradation. I think its sad and irresponsible of the people pushing him - or in this case dragging him through this process. Im still shocked that it has come down to Biden and Sanders. I can't believe this is the BEST the democrats could come up with to offer their voters. Gabbard is better than both of them and they are actively trying to block her. Its insane.

    It might get really sad seeing Trump tear him up on stage. I can already see Joe's slow and unfocused reactions to Trumps barbs..... But Joe opted into the ring so he will have to take the beating he gets. In fact if Trump plays it right and backs off Joe when he is down he will get a lot of praise for being nice to the clearly confused old man. Hard to believe the DNC is running the Biden play, but what choice do they really have?

    Apparently the DNC and CNN are collaborating to provide Biden with a desk and chair for his debate with Sanders on 15 March?

    I can't see mad Bernie sitting down for long.

    Biden has angry outbursts when he's on the defensive. Trump will take advantage of that. He'll get Joe yelling things like "Dog-faced pony soldier" during a debate, and Trump will just smile at the camera and moderators.

    The vast majority of people feel more confident in confrontation on their feet.

    If this is true, it would portray Biden as being defensive and vulnerable and a mirror reflection of his mind.

    It won't work with Sanders and it most definitely will NOT work with Trump.

    I can see Bernie taking command of the stage, pacing back and forth, waving his arms wildly while Joe just sits there, saying, "C'mon Man! C'mon man!"...and looking at the moderators to help him. It'll be brutal.
