Total bullcrap, most criminals have zero redeeming qualities, they are human animals and most deserve a needle to the vein.
Most of their lives they live like normal people. Many have suffered alot. My History teacher in HS was a pilot during Vietnam War. Very interesting, yet very demanding of work.
In USA most people believe in Revenge. In Scandinavia most people and justice system is based on help and rehabilitation. Moral superiority of either system can neither be proved nor refuted.
More baloney. The gunman took off and Beqiri was treated by a doctor and nurse who lived nearby — but it was too late. He was pronounced dead on scene. Authorities are probing whether Beqiri was killed in revenge over his Swedish crime connections — as media outlets in the country reported that his murder was “linked to criminal networks” there. “We believe Flamur may possibly have been involved in some criminality in Sweden, and are in liaison with our Swedish counterparts to try to understand what, if any, incidents there may have been that might have led to someone seeking retribution against Flamur in the UK,” Metropolitan Police Detective Chief Inspector Jamie Stevenson told Metro. The father of two young children, including a newborn baby, was “named as one of Sweden’s most wanted men” in 2008 after detectives claimed he was part of a ring that moved about $2.6 million worth of cannabis into Scandinavia, according to the report.
Fortunately, I am a small person. Anyone who has impact is judged severely by their critics. People who have millions of fans have many foes.
How is such in any way relevant to the supposed redeeming qualities of known and convicted criminals? What the history teacher being referred to on the part of yourself indicted for felony murder?
Likely his body count was several tens of civilians. He was not convicted but rewarded with many medals. He was an interesting person, but too demanding of work.
So now those that have served in the military are being openly compared to known felonies who deliberately murder others of their own volition.
Not really. He served during the Vietnam War, when USA engaged in genocide of civilians. He served in Air Force as a pilot -- the branch responsible for most civilian casualties. A serial killer can be interesting, but he gave too much work.
Once again, openly comparing known felons who deliberately murder others of their own volition, with those that have served in the military, claiming that there is no distinction between the two groups.
That's not true. Most people who try to commit suicide, by any means, succeed. Most people who don't succeed were not at all trying to kill themselves but were, instead, using emotional blackmail on those who they blame for their pathetic lives. Many of those who are using self-harm as emotional blackmail accidentally kill themselves in the process and are ruled suicides but would be more accurately termed as accidental deaths. I lost a brother and a daughter-in-law to accidental deaths in the act of self-harm while crying out for attention.
The left has always been about cruelty and sadism, in everything from murdering unborn children, to slavery and racism, to communism and genocide, to welfare and drugs, to human trafficking and the misery, murder, rape, and abuse of those coming in across our southern border. There's little to nothing in anything that has come from the left or liberals that is anything other than cruelty and sadism.
Socialism is not charity. Charity at the end of a gun barrel is not charity. In fact, government redistribution of wealth is the antithesis of charity and robs those who might have been charitable of the opportunity or the need to be charitable.
It's the welfare state that creates people needing psychological care. People learn not to stand on their feet but to be weak, whiney, and dependent on others to feed them, house them, and give them any feeling of self-worth. The problem is that others can never give a person a feeling of self-worth. When people, with the aid of the welfare state, have made themselves actually worthless, they know it and call it psychological problems such as depression.
What does that have to do with guns? People were harming themselves for thousands of years before guns were invented. That's why all those religions mention it in their scriptures. If we are going to force people not to sin, should we cut off the hands of the poor because they might steel food? Suicide is wrong. But I can't force people to be right. And taking the choice away stops the sin but it doesn't make people better people. A person who never had any opportunity to sin has not proven to himself or to his God that he has chosen to not sin; it was never an option.
It certainly is in Christianity. Your right to individual choice in all matters is central to Christianity.
