Let's face it; this religion know a thing or two about stockpiling and survival. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...s-insatiable-desire-disaster-preparation.html
Evidently they don't believe in what Jesus said= Matthew 6:26-34 = https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=matthew6:25-34&version=CEB;CEV;ERV;NLT;NKJV
neither do most Christians, many churches canceling service even, like they don't feel safe in the house of their lord
So? I'm talking about their practice of being but I'd say were Preppers. My brother's not religious but the Mormon family he's married into sure taught him a thing or two and as a result, he's fine for supplies in this whole TP shortage.
they have a website you can shop their goods at. I'm not sure but I think they will sell their prep program to non-Mormons. It is well organized and the quality is pretty good.
It was only a short time ago when people were making fun of Venezuela for not being able to supply toilet paper because of their socialist policies. What is our excuse?
Greed, the shortages of supplies aren't because the factories have stopped producing or that the deliveries aren't happening; it's because demand shot up; as soon as somebody has stock; people's greed swoops in and then the shelves are empty; instead of regular consumer habits; people are buying more than they need for fear of being stuck at home; and tbh, it's a very real fear and nobody can blame people for wanting to be stocked up just in case people are forced to stay home in some imposed curfew.
Mohammed said to use three rocks. Imagine if people were hoarding rocks. Some Hindus take baths in tubs of cow poop. They aren't overly concerned about hoarding toilet paper or rocks. The best salesman in the world was the guy who convinced his buddies that that was a good idea.
Many of the 'hoarders' are just hoping to sell the stuff at huge markups. Kudos to Amazon, EBay, and others who have shut down the vermin peddling the stuff online, and to those retailers who have put limits on sales and especially those who are opening early and allowing senior citizens an hour of shopping before the hordes race in and loot the shelves.
Worrying about having food and preparing yourself for the unforeseen by having supplies for your family are two different things.
If you are a believer then whatever happens to you is God's will. If he wants you to suffer and go hungry that is what will happen to you regardless of your attempts to avoid it. Besides you are showing that you don't trust him and that ticks him off more than anything.
