First off, you need to stop with the vulgarity in your responses to my and others' posts.

Second, give us the positive spin on the reporter's question. What could Trump have possibly said in response to the question that would not have been met with derision by his critics?

That's nice. Now show us a curve of the recovery rate and the fatality rate for Corona. And another one on the age rate of the fatalities. How many are in nursing homes with preexisting conditions? Don't forget a curve showing the economic cost of quarantine, and maybe a curve on the social cost of extended social distancing.

That's all you've got for me (not even a "like") after my entire, lengthy, and positively engaging post/response for you? A response to a brief post of mine for someone else? Oh well...
    Listen up:
Peter Alexander\s only, "ulterior motive," was to get an honest answer from a perpetual liar.
No one seems shocked except for Trump's core following, which continues to grovel at his every utterance, who cannot understand why we all just don't be silent and take his mostly ignorant remarks as gospel. A big, fat, liar lost his temper at a laid back, honest, healthy young reporter doing his job. That kind of behavior from a world leader may be tolerated in his bedroom, but the nation's not buying it. You talk about 3rd world nations and us being better than them? Then why further promote what is now an apparent wannabe 3rd world dictator? The USA is better than that! And Trump's points may rise and fall a little in the coming months - but his overall political value is in the gutter.

How did he lose his temper? Trump can't criticize a reporter? Why the fat shaming? Don't hate on fatties.

The "Dems" aren't "spreading fearmongering." Trump's flip-flopping, indifference (not, "caring") for citizens affected by the virus, and perpetual knack for lying is what's scary during such a national crisis! And no, he never just keeps, "his mouth shut," before first yammering out both sides of it that is. We're stuck, for the time being, with a big, fat, orange oaf-in-chief.

    Needy much?

    Listen up:

Peter Alexander's primary goal in the White House briefing room is to make Trump look as bad as possible. When Trump made his comments about us getting through this, etc, the proverbial sh*t hit the fan.

Early on, libs were bitching about how Trump wasn't taking this situation seriously enough and wasn't reassuring the American public. So, he goes ahead and does that and Alexander asks Trump if his “impulse to put a positive spin on things” could be giving Americans a “false sense of hope” amid the pandemic.Trump did EXACTLY what idiot libs in this country said he should do, and they lambaste him for it, accusing him of giving the American people a false sense of hope.

Peter Alexander's a boil on the ass of American journalism...

WHY did he lose his temper is the better question. We expect our number one representative to be cool headed during a national crisis. Pitiful indeed!
Trump ALWAYS criticizes reporters who are not in lock-step with him or who perform their duty by asking him questions he either doesn't want to, or cannot, answer.
What are you talking about? I LOVE, "fat," people. And some of my best friends are orange (tanning booths). I was just describing him.... jeez. Noticed you didn't chastise me for calling him, "orange." Look, if you're fat and I offended you I apologize. It wasn't meant as insult as much as an accurate identifier. You okay with me calling him, "Big and Orange," in the future?

So the wolf has shed her sheep disguise.....I don't suck up like past Republican executives. Guess I like President Trump because he is more my style. Words like "big fat liar" is akin to the passive aggressive form used by leftist reporters to bait a President whom they have hated since he ran for the office. Guess we need to slug it out until we see the public determine which style is honest and which is not. The beauty of it is.....we are going to slug it out. This side is not going to exhibit the go along to get along attitude that takes our country further left every four years.
I extended an olive branch to you in hopes of finding common ground. not because I need a "friend". I explained to you that I am glad President Trump is at the helm. After your self described "lengthy, and positively engaging post/response" you call my chosen leader "a big fat liar".......something I would expect from an adolescent. This is the mode of operation I would expect from left leaning pseudo Americans. Now I know why you found Obama appealing. Perhaps you too, were proud of America for the first time in 2008. I don't play those games . You and Peter Alexander have too much in common.

    LOL!!! Plagiarize style much???
Anyway --- Nonsense! Trump makes himself look bad. He doesn't need any help from Peter Alexander or anyone. Looks to most like Trump can't handle his role when the s4*t hits the fan. This time it's for real and Trump's place is off stage and letting the professionals handle this crisis. Trump shouldn't have even been up there with them. The professionals are repeatedly seen in the background cringing whenever Trump is on stage talking crap out both sides of his mouth. It's really scary having an apparent imbecile up there at a time like this!

I punch back. You "slugged" first. Besides isn't this what you were gunning for to begin with? Your remark, "The beauty of it is.....we are going to slug it out," is quite revealing. I gracefully accepted your, "olive branch," and then immediately took fire from you after offering you the same. Your only problem with me is that I am not in lock step with your love for Donald Trump. Trump needs to learn respect for the 1st Amendment - not condemn it. His lost temper against Peter Alexander proves that.
    Be well, YR.

All you need to do there is look to the response given by Mike Pence when he was asked the exact same question.

    OOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!

    :banana::banana::banana:

Why do you say he lost his temper?

He didn't yell. He didn't get in Alexander's face. He didn't cuss.

    None of that.

No, the deal is this: Libs are so profoundly delicate that even the mere hint of a disagreement equates to someone flying off the rails, and they do nonsensical things like say the President doesn't respect the first amendment.

How did Trump show disrespect for the first amendment?

What an utterly stupid thing to say...

People are expected to be frightened in times of national crisis and, saddest of all, a narcissistic leader who doesn't give a rat's a$$ about them. The fact that reporters ask questions isn't the problem. It's the really lame interjections from Trump, et al which are unnecessarily causing near-panic in our nation today!

I think you've got it backwards Big Steve. It's Trump, and his micromanaging lifestyle, which is delicate and cannot handle disagreement.

Peter Alexander's question was legitimate and could have been handled masterfully by any professional manager in a larger-than-20-employee organization. Trump doesn't fit in there.

And you think losing one's temper cannot manifest without cussing and getting in one's face? Raising one's voice while turning red (well, we can't really know if Trump turned "red" can we?) and telling someone they're lousy at their job (this is coming from the President of the United States at say, you or a loved one) is way outta line. But yeah... that's a temper loss in my book.

But let's go old school. General Patton would have just slapped him (and been promptly reprimanded for it)! Or maybe he would've slapped President Bonespurs himself for being such a coward during times of national need!!! ;)

Sincere question: where did you pick up the notion that it is a President's job to comfort you during a health crisis? It's nowhere in his oath of office, the law, in contract, or the constitution. To me, that's the role of a family, medical professionals, maybe a pastor, or a friend or social group. Maybe a king if we had a monarchy instead if a Republic. But the chief executive?

Same question to the Ponytail Guy telling George H.W. Bush during a townhall debate that "you are our spiritual parents," or words to that effect. Remember that man-child?

We have become a nation of pre-adolescent children. And our children are learning to be emotionally (as well as materially) dependent on the federal government.

Alexander's question was purely political. Trump called him out. He's not politically correct. And that in part is why he was elected. You can't see that ?? On you.
