Big backer? Did you just make that up?
But he at least would act like a real leader, I think. Instead of worrying about how many votes he'll get in November.

You're suggesting there are politicians who don't consider how many votes they'll get in the next election?

    Surely you are joking.

FDR is a Democratic/Liberal icon. But in the run up to World War Two he was deeply worried about being impeached and removed from office if he acted to support the British too overtly in the war.

You have to stay in office to get anything done.

No one is blaming the virus on tRUMP. At least in reality.
Many RW types perceive some are blaming tRUMP, but that's because they listen/watch fake news.

What most people blame on tRUMP is his lack of leadership. His lack of allowing experts to form a real plan of attack.
His continuous blame and finger pointing. Instead of taking control, like a real leader would do.
Act like a man, instead of scared toddler.

    Good one.
With tRUMPs inactions, the USA is now the leader in virus cases.
So I guess that is the appropriate name, the IMPEACHED tRUMP virus.

There is no sense in responding to this and other posts like it. They hate Trump and no words will ever change that. It has been said that Trump could cure cancer and they will still find fault.

What you mean by President Trump showing a "lack of leadership" is that President Trump won't go groveling to political opponents, mainstream media, academia, and the federal govt. bureaucracy which has been hell bent on destroying him for more than three years.

During a crises engulfing the nation?

Sure, the losers worry. The real leaders step up and take control of the situation. Bring the country together and implement a working solution.
Not whine and cry daily how mean the world is to him. What a baby. And you're all in of this cry baby? Serious?

    Correct. tRUMP did nothing.
So, individual businesses, industry leaders in certain areas of economy, and local and State Gov't stepped up to deal with the problem.
Meanwhile, the impeached crybaby tried to blame the media for being mean to him and the D's for creating yet another hoax.

What a loser we have for a leader. Would you not agree? The do nothing but point fingers and whine about how mean the world is to him. What a loser impeached prez we have.

    But you responded.
And tRUMP is still failing the country.
It's one of the reason's for impeachment. Failure to lead properly.
In the case of impeachment, bribery was the theme.

Can't bribe a virus though. But his leadership qualities are the same in each case. Non existent.
Finger pointing and blaming the world for being mean to him.

Trump thought wrongly he had it under control early on and claimed mission accomplished

the only thing we could do is spread the curve, the same number of people were always going to be infected either way, just one way overloads the medical system more than the other

Trump wants to say he can do everything, but he can't.. by promising the states he could, the states depended on him... no following though on his promises does not help matters, that is for sure

In this particular crisis, the Governor of NY has stepped up.
On this issue of a pandemic, Dr Fauci has shown real leadership skills.

In response to the 2007 greatest recession ever, Obama led us out of it.
Ebola, H1N1 pandemics, obama was prez when the world was dealing with them. The world didn't crash because of them.

How in your world, do you think a blamer and finger pointer is considered real leadership? Explain?

Well, guess we will have to wait an see if Trump was the best person for the job. So far everyone seems to be clamoring for democrat and safety net solutions though. And he is following lock in step with what any democrat nominated president would have done once he started finally taking this seriously.(talking about the stimulus) Only time will tell if it was too little, too late or not.
