Many more deaths? You are confused. H1N1 killed 12,000 Americans in a year (365 days.)

Our first death for COVID was Feb 29. We are currently at 9.5 K. In 36 days!!! We will be at H1N1 level deaths after 38-39 days. We're not reaching peak deaths per day for another 11 days, when we will have over 2,000 Americans dead, in ONE day. This is NOTHING like H1N1.

 

There were 18,500 laboratory confirmed deaths. There may be the potential, but we are not there yet. With that many deaths, there was no blaming Obama. As best I can tell, Obama did nothing.

 

We will likely get to 19,000 deaths on April 18. 49 days after our first death. That's around the time deaths per day will start to go down, so expect many thousands after that.

Some of you really don't have any idea how serious this is. I'm stunned. There are so many tools & resources to look for yourselves. This isn't about Trump, Obama or any other politician. Listen to the scientists, the doctors, the nurses... listen to the people who know what they are talking about. The president is taking this seriously. Why aren't you?

Addressing this - what the bleep does this monster disease have to do with Obama? If Obama hadn't been president, you'd trust that this disease is worse? There is not one political thing about this disease.

 

I understand how serious it is. I know it will get much worse. However, when was Obama supposed to be concerned? He did nothing. Trump stopped visitors from China early in the game which most likely saved millions in the long run. Biden said he was fear mongering. Pelosi did not think it was a problem when they were having Chinese celebrations. The New York mayor and governor went on with Chinese Celebrations. The democratic mayor of New Orleans went on with the Mardi Gras. Even the chief scientist did not think it was going to get this bad.

You said it is not about Trump, Obama or any other politician, but in the meantime, the criticism of Trump continues.

Hindsight is great. However, it rarely solves anything.

 

Let me put it this way. The criticism of Trump needs to stop. Lets all get on board to support him.

 

I haven't criticized the president one time since this thing started. Now is not the time to be assigning blame. Now is the time to work together to kick this thing's ass. You appear to be throwing out H1N1 numbers as if it is relevant for anything going on now. We got to H1N1 total deaths in 1/10th of the time it took H1N1 to get to whatever number you prefer to use.

If you are taking it seriously, please act like it. There are still way, way too many Americans who think this is a giant joke. Doctor Birx can't be more clear that she is.

 

I threw out H1N1 numbers after Natty Bumpo was commenting on how badly Trump was handling the Corona Virus. He criticized Trump but had absolutely no criticism of Obama.

I agree. The time has ended for criticism of Trump and any other politician. It is not helpful at this point. But before I shut up, you need to shut down those who are criticizing Trump.
